Default Decided to take off the HID

As the topic says, i've decided to take the HID off my bike. Although the wiring has been completely ruined by attaching it, not to mention the amount of money ill be wasting, i can't bear being a source of nuisance to other drivers. I've already been flashed a couple of times by drivers asking me to turn it off. A projector retrofit would be too costly i saw a guy selling xenon projectors for 2000PKR but i simply cannot spend any more on the lighting issues of my bike.. maybe a later time with a bigger bike. Although the visibility has been greatly enhanced i dont think its worth getting cursed by other people.

it's good that you care about others on road but since you have already done it, if i were you i would get some proper HID housing/reflector now to sort it out.

HID on bikes causes more disturbance to car drivers as compared to HID on car as the bike has more height and the light hits directly in the eye of the oncoming traffic. Please go ahead and remove them. Naikii ky kaam mein derr nahi karni chahiye...

is this just because your wiring was damage ? if only this would be people's issue, you would not have placed it in the first place. but still great to do.

it's hard man i spent a lot of money on this but HIDs require proper xenon projectors to sort out the glare issues. i'll have to just take them off

There are no reflectors for HIDs you need xenon projectors.

Wiring isn't damaged it's just not genuine anymore. i was unaware of the glare issues when i got it installed.

If you need extra light I recommend you to switch on SMD Light's,

easily available in the market & power consumption is very low

basically SMD LEDS. but i doubt those will not disturb the person coming. Have you not seen the pathans selling small batteries with 3 LEDs attached to it? around 150 rupees. Those small LEDs emit lots of light and are known as SMD to locals

It has been proven ages ago. Pakistani bikes are equipped with tiny batteries. Installing HID kits in them is plain waste of money and ruining original wiring. I had a GS-150 ages ago. It had a big battery still never supported the HID kit.
