Guys, anyone have any idea about prices of Challa Kit for CG125. Are Japenese ones also available in the market ?

Any way to differentiate between AHL Genuine and Japanese (if it exists)?

Put that on finger and rub it with thumb to feel viscosty of oil, then smell it if it smells like burnt mobil oil if you feel the viscusness and burnt oil smell then I am afraid you need to get it checked sooner or later.... but if it is not viscus at all and smells like addative petrol or kerosene then that means you used a bad petrol pump to refill your tank and now bike is unable to fire it up properly or it is running rich or you have bad ignition.

    Hope it helps! (Y)

    @vickytulla ! Thanks for replying.

If you remember, a couple of weeks ago i posted that:
    1. I had to re-do the Engine Valves, Seals & Piston Rings.
    2. After that, bike occasionally, would give smoke on cold starts (doesn't happen very often though, and there is no smoke once the bike gets heated)

I have been concerned since that day ... that there could be a leakage or the mechanic who did the work have somehow messed up (even when he was very careful). I was told to get my Piston Changed too while the work is being done (to ensure longer life of the rings), but i didn't pay any attention to it because:
    - cost attached to it which would've costed me nearly 10k
    - Piston was fine and the person who did the work did acknowledge that it is.

I have read about the Plug Conditions and apparently, Plug is Fine and is doing its job properly. However, i am still concerned if there is a leak somewhere. My cousin suspects is to be Valve Guides; a random mechanic suggests bad seals. Either way, i don't feel like getting it opened again. Neither do i like spending any huge cost on it.

    Advice?

hmmmm..... if that is the case then I would inspect and try find out if the deposits I found on Plug is really mobil oil, and if it is then I doubt the Valve seals mostly we buy it just of the shelf (which are very poor quality) and end up with every thing fine but wet plugs..

Yes you dont need to open Head but if the symptoms continue to worse then you will sure have to get the head (atleast) thoroughly checked.

Well it is engine oil. I know it because of the smoke which comes during cold start. Its the same smoke which appears when Piston Rings need changing, plus the burning smell. (which is because of engine oil getting sucked up in piston area -- but that is when the bike is heated up, not when cold)

So i think you are right. So far, 2 votes for Engine Seals. I think i should get it checked and get the engine seals changed while at it. Do you have anything to add?

If you are going to get the seals checked then lagay Hath Valves bhi check ho jien *** ... they have a liquid (machinists which make valves/guides ) they put it in the valve to detect any leakage also Cylender or Piston bhi check kerny ka moka mil jaye ga k unki health kesi hai!

    Question

    AoA to all memebers

I need a suggestion on installing a security system for motorcycle. There are several options available in market like remote control, RFID and touch sensor etc. Which would be recommended.

@Silver_Knife! That doesn't look like the Challa Kit The ones i got are orange colored rubber Rings ... which were replaced in the areas behind Flywheel (left engine side).

I didn't go to Makhdoom and i was short on time, so i visited my local mechanic who had them, and assured me these are Genuine - Changed them for Rs.550 inclusive of Labor. Is that a good price?

I wanted the confirmation of you guys if they were really Geniune. I can also post a picture of those orange colored rubber rings if you want. Also, they were in Simple Packing (He claimed them to be Japanese)

If i were you, i would stop wasting money on these things. I have purchased FOUR exhausts over FOUR years of my bike and trust me, they just get screwed after some time. So no need to waste more money on them.

As long as they are serving their purpose, they are fine
