    Default Is CG125 woth buying?

I am thinking of buying a CG125 But i have seen alot of -ive reviews for CG125 on this bike. It will be my first bike. But I am confused. Here I have seen many users praising Suzuki GS150/GD110. I also like GD110. But here in my area it is hard to find spare parts of this bike also Mechanics are don't suggest this bike as they don't understand GD110's engine. I can wait till February 2014. Is there any chance of improvements in CG125 in 2014 model?

I have also read about cd100 pridor on this forum. And buyers look satisfied with it. But I Love CG125 (2011 model). But I don't wanna buy a used one.

I think you have tich button instead of eyes,i already explained for resale concern cg 125 is the preferred choice (a merit actually, not bashing)

Agar 70 to nanga na karain, aur drivers ka weight taqreeban same ho(yani kay 17-18 kay bhook kay maray huay larkay na hoon),CD-100/pridor to 70cc kabhi bhi overtake nai kar sakti in a race.Beharhal i am a safe driver probably because i am a car driver first then a motorcyclist, and i prefer to drive calm and slow instead of raping a commuting bike.

Mujhe paison ka kabhi masla nai para, resale ko main consider hi nai karta,i can afford to buy any ride and i am not a resale junkie.I like to buy different rides, instead of tin dabba of 1970s.I dont need to fret anymore cuz you are a 125holic. There is no point reasoning with the likes of ppl like you..Apko apni 125 muBROOK ho,resale apnay pass rakhain

and refering to my previous posts i was just clearing the misconceptions regarding CD-100/pridor BECAUSE i own 1 and have plenty of experience to back my reasoning. The OP showed a clear intent to buy CG so he should buy 1 and get over with it.
Tin dabba? LOL. To me Pridor is just a wannabe sports bike. I seen many times how Chonda 70cc bikes smokes Pridor. It's a plastic crap. A bike which has no soul in it. CG 70's ki hai ye haal hai. Khud socho. Even B747 is from 70's. Aj tak sabse hit plane hai.

When new model of CG125 will release. I will buy in 2014(Jan/Feb). I will buy only Honda because i don't have money for experiments. This thread has confused me enough. there were 3 to 4 Good comments for CG125 and are enough. Paiggo/Suzuki may not be bad, may be very good but I had made my decision. thhanks friends....

so according to what you've said plastic bikes are 'crap'. Are you sure? All those ninjas, ducatis, gixxers, cbrs all have plastic fairings. whatever, you mentioned the word 'soul'. Do you even know what that means? None of the bikes sold here in pakistan have a bit of soul in them, they're cheap runabouts for getting from A to B. You don't know the first thing about the soulfulness of a machine. A machine which has a soul will give you trouble as well as pleasure, but that for you would be 'plastic crap' 'cheap build quality'. Sitting behind the computer looking at pictures of CG125s wishfully has really messed with your head. I pray to Allah that may you really get a CG125 so you can come out of the inferiority complex of not owning one. Ameen

    Q: CG125 worth buying?
    A: NO

Reason: As per me CG125 is an obsolete bike now, we have to move on. There are many many other options available 1LAC price cap rather Atlas Honda CG125.

If you are looking for opinions, then my opinion will be to go for GS150, Ravi Piaggio 125 or GD110. You wont be hitting 100km/h each day. So opt for bike with good braking, Road grip, comfortable and moreover self start.

Remember you are spending 1 Lacs, so my suggestion will be to go for either Ravi Piaggio 125 or GS150. Deluxe is out of frame cuz its over priced and they dont offer much in such price.

    Now narrowing to two option:

GS150: Some quality issues and spare parts issues but still its the best touring bike in Pakistan. All tourists in Pakistan use it (Not to mention atif who left yesterday on GS150 for 15000km tour). But as soon as you get the bike you need to replace rear tyre and if you have spare 10K then install front disk brake system. As its pretty heavy bike and you need a good braking power to stop it.

Ravi Piaggio 125: Its a complete package out of the box. Disc brake, sporty looks etc etc. But again if you want more control change the rear tyre. Spare parts issue is there but can be coped with courier service facility. For now its a complete package in 100k price in Pakistan.

*Iam not a paid agent. I wish Ravi Piaggio gets some serious competition either from Atlas Honda or Suzuki or even any chinese brand, all i need is a good bike in Pakistan.

I would also recommend the piaggio as its an accomplished package at a very reasonable price. Some parts of gs150 are really disappoitning considering its 111,500 price

LOL there is a diff between those giant bikes and so called wannabe 100cc bikes. Allah ke shukar se GS-500 bhi rakhi hai. GS-500 Suzuki ki bike hai but Japanese. Pak Suzuki se Allah bachaye. Car ya ho bike. Pak Suzuki Pak Suzuki hei rahegi. Everyone is well aware of their quality. Allah ke shukar hai 0 meter CG 125 hai. It has clocked 500. Karachi mai bech mai reg nahi ho rahi thi bikes tou kam hei use kar raha tha. Camera aa jaye tou pics bhi upload kar dunga. Google se pics paste karne walo mai nahi.

so-called wannabe 100cc bikes? what does that mean? the bikes you're referring to as wannabe 100cc bikes are 100cc bikes, how can they be wannabe 100cc bikes? i think you're really confused about what you're saying. i've heard about wannabe sports bikes, wannabe touring bikes and so on, but wannabe 100cc bikes, man, the imaginary manufacturers you have in mind must be really desperate to market their bikes as 100cc behemoths
