Its a good bike. But the reason we are being so negative is because its old now and should be bycotted so that AHL finally consider making themselves better. Plus, the quality of Euro 2 bikes have been reduced drastically, to the point that a bike barely last you full 1 year.
I own a 2008/09 model CG125 and my TayaAbbu owns a recently bought Euro 2. I have been using mine for nearly 4 years now. While i do have some major complaints with it, its a good bike with a robust engine. But if i consider buying one again, i'd most certainly never buy this.
If you want to purchase your first bike then consider Piaggio 125 or GS150 ... Former have a Disk Brake, both have bigger batteries for electronics and also have a better engine than CG125. Plus, the presence of SelfStarter.
You can also consider buying a CG125 Deluxe which is still a better bike than classic CG125 (Disc Brake, Comfy & riding position better than GS150 and Piaggio for people with less height) but is expensive than the both above mentioned ones, have smaller battery and no self start.
However, if you want options in lower 100cc or lower category then you can consider GD110, Pridor etc. Frankly, i don't have any experience with any of these so others might be able to tell you better.
