Default How to import bike from Japan ?

is there any authentic website ? can any buddy seriously help me out ?

i am wandering here and there at internet and googling like anything, but failed to to find a proper authentic website for used heavy bikes

Dealers of heavy bikes in Pakistan are doing this business so easilly and earning huge profits

i don't wanna be their victim of ruthless profit margin, i have such limited hard earned money

can any buddy at Pakwheel help me out ?

Bro, first of all no one is importing bikes from Japan. Jap bikes are limited due to local laws & you have to spend more money on re-flashing the ECU's.

Most of the dealers are importing from either the U.S or U.K. U.S bikes are usually cheaper but also suffer from some restrictions but which are usually easily removed. U.K bikes are un-restricted but more expensive due to the exchange rate.

    Website for U.S bikes:
Motorcycles - Scooters, Dirt Bikes, Choppers, Sport Bikes, and Other Motorcycles for Sale - Cycle Trader.com

    Website for U.K bikes:
Bike Trader - Used Motorbikes for sale

Duty on 1000cc bikes is around $7/cc. Shipping & crating charges will be around $1500/GBP800. Expect another 50-80k in various clearance charges once the bike lands in pakistan. If you need any other guidance let me know.

Yeah it's easily calculated if you follow this duty structure, you can also get 1% depreciation per month up to a maximum of 48%. You can import a 5 year old motorcycle.

    Engine Capacity: Customs Value /CC

    250CC to 500CC: $8.85

    501CC to 650CC: $7.00

    651CC to 900CC: $6.95

    901CC to 1000CC: $6.90

    Above 1000CC: $5.40

Yes becuase if the per cc cost is high then how 200cc water cooled Rickshaw engines found as cheap as 16k only ... and if we only calculate cost per cc as 9$ * 200 (200cc) = 1800$ * 106RS = 190800RS only cost of Customs/Duty other then engines own price and shippment charges so how it can be available in range of Rs-16k to 37k depending on different brands and quality in market.

I mean there is a catch which @Getafix may know about.

Not to mention CG125 chinese engine is available as cheap as Rs#15k and Yamaha 100 engine for as cheap as 7k only (Brain Blowing)

This duty structure is only applicable to completely built motorcycles. Motorcyle parts come in a different category. I'm pretty sure that bikes below 250cc are also $8.85, but i'll have to confirm from my sources.

There are some Chinese Bikes, they looks like same as heavy bike but they are just 150cc.
If possibly, kindly confirm the duty on these type of bikes.

@Getafix I agree but if that is true and 8.85$ X CC the 150cc means 150 X 8.85 = 1325$ X 106RS = RS 1,40,450 would only be tax/Duties excluding bikes own price and shipment charges.... but Qinqi and other importers are offering imported 150cc Trails and Bikes for only Rs# 1,25,000 so that puts me in doubt that there sure is a loop whole some where which we may have been missing.

Bro like i already said these rates are only applicable on completely built motorcyces. Qinqi & all these other manufacturers import the bikes in parts & assemble them in pakistan, therefore they're not liable to pay these charges. They only pay taxes on the parts, which is much cheaper.
