    DERBI 150 Launched in Pakistan Rebadged Robisson BYQ150 -1371669

    A much talked about and Anticipated bike Which was rumored as RSV4 turn out to be a DERBI 150 which if looked in detail is a re-badged tailored version specially for Pakistan note that its not an international bike and Derbi do not market it any where in the world so far.

    We don't have any technical specs of this bike so far that what engine output is and what other PK tailored facilities are added or removed from the base BYQ150 model.

    In any case price is like a last nail in its coffin.

    DERBI 150cc (AS ravi Guys calling it)
    Introductory Price :: 299,000/-

    I won't buy them either, although they're a class apart, but still no justification of their price tags.

    Price under 175 k would have been justified for Derbi but 300 k na ba ba na.

    i really like this bike, i wanted one for office ana jana, thats 12 kms one side. and i keep my cars on petrol. i am on my own now lol. so cant afford petrol any more for office and all. so i wanted a bike to save some money... well that will be my first bike ever. i am not gonna buy any of 70cc or 125, cant take it, that we are still producing 80s shape. this derbi was launched and i was interested, i know nothing about motor bikes. only thing that hold me up til now is "every one here saying its not worth 300k" if its a good bike then why not? should i buy this can i go for it at least petrol kay kharchay se to jaan chootay gi yar. 28 up to 30k ka petrol mera lag jata hai swift mai.
    no.2 i have found suzuki bandit 400 here in peshawar. demand is 270k shayad 250 pay maan jaye. now what should i buy, this 150 cc derbi or suzuki bandit 400. ??? i know both bikes are different in make n class and engine as well, but i like them both, wanna buy one of them, so asking you brothers what shall i go for now, i totally lost my mine over this. as this will be my first bike, and my budget for purchasing a bike is 300k. and the main factor for which i am buying it is save those 30000 per month, which i give away for my fuel. plz help....

    And if you really want a good naked sports bike then go for a good restored GS 500 it is more fuel efficient then bandit 400.

    fuel consumption of bandit would be comparable to your swift, you don't buy such bike to conserve fuel.

    I would vote for Derbi...at least its a new and a good looking bike (forget about the CC part ), and you need a daily runner, a 150cc bike for running around the city is a good option. But do check about the 3S, I am not sure how good will that be, personally dont have very high hopes from Ravi reason is that I wanted to buy something for 'once in a while' ride...like Derbi...started waiting for the launch of this bike in Pakistan...waited and waited...and around end August i was told by Ravi 'wait for another a month or two' ...went for a old cruiser and right after 15 days, they launched the Derbi here in Pakistan

    No idea about others, but personally I wanted to buy this because I think this will be the best (fingers crossed) options in 150cc class...brand new, and hopefully of a better quality....but as I said I wanted it just for weekends rides, so not sure how good will it be as a daily runner in Pakistan. Survival of this bike depends on the after sale services of Ravi.

    @TM I totally agree on this aspect.. even spare parts can be locally imported thanks to many importers sitting in Mcloed Road who bring things from China... the only Question mark I have in mind is a 150cc with a price tag of 3Lac ...

    I mean its no way afordable atleast for masses of touring loving guys...
