Ws. Yes, you can get a bandit 400 in that price range, and a good one too. I also wanted to go for a bandit but the problem I faced was the spare parts. I searched some forums and found out, this bandit can sometimes develop issues and then requires parts. Parts that are difficult to find in other countries, let alone Pakistan. The only reason I backed out was this. I also needed a daily rider, but I'm afraid if it turns out to be needing trips to the workshop every week and waiting for parts to be imported.

I started a thread for the exact same reason. In your budget, as far as I know, a GS500 is a good option. Now a GS 500 can turn out to be problematic too, but you have parts and mechanics available easily. Plus if you are able to find a bike in very good condition, it shouldn't trouble you a lot.

a last question then,if iam only left with gs500 what would be a reasonable price for model above 1999 and 2ndly can i add fairings to it?fairing price and availability?and by doing some panga with exhaust will it give the humming and roaring heavy sound? iam not interested in the sound i hear from a 70 or 125 with some loud sounding muffler.

Sadly enough, a GS 500 does not have that smooth, distinct sound that is akin to sports bikes. It sounds closer to a 125. And I don't know about the price, as I am myself looking into one.

mileage is some what same if reved high speed but 250cc tend to do 18km/l in best conditions where as 400 is around 15km/l (as I heard from owners)

parts locally sirf used men milty hain and yes atleast in lahore i know very good mechnics who can build this bike from top to bottom again and are not very expensive too.
