Default Finally bought my new GS-150

Alhamdullilah bought new GS-150. I bought it on 20th March but got a chance now to start a thread and share pictures with all of you.
Luckily I have got a good one. I don't see any rusting on the frame or on silencer as other fellow PW members have reported before. Meter is showing correct speed, no chain cover issue, no 2nd gear katak sound. Well it is there and I feel it very first time at the start of the day after warming engine up for 2-3 minutes when I apply 1st gear and after that I don't feel anymore throughout the day... (this is bit strange). Rest of the switching among gears is very smooth..

I have done 215km on it now... I am not going hard on it during its break in period. I clock max 45-50km. Please recommed a good oil. I would like to change it after completing 300km. I know there is a thread from Amjad brother on oils but I am not sure where can I get LM and I am also not sure if it will suit brand new engine. I have two pack bottles of Castrol GTX 20-50 and 1 bottle of Shell Advance AX5 1L. Which one should I put after 300km in this weather condition? Suggestions please?

Update: 750kms done. Calculated average 45.43 km per liter MashAllah.

MashAllah many congrats i am very pleased to see GD110 in background too
kindly do not forget to share your experience & views regarding GD110

viva pm i am sending contact number of a dealer of liqui moly don't want to post here
again & again i just share his details recently so don't want to post again as this
might be against PakWheels Rules they may think i am doing publicity for his shop

Just recently i have bought Zic 20w40 engine oil it has dramatically softened my bikes gears
i own pridor 100 so from local oils it is my recommendation to you give it a try

Masha Allah congrats brother. very good choice. regarding the gear issue in the morning, you will feel it untill your bike is fully warmed up. i warm up my bike for 4-5 minutes in the morning and clean the bike in the mean time and after that i dont feel the gear issue. i used the bike with the issue for 2 years when i used to warm it up for around 2 minutes but when my brother bought a new gs in 2013, he told me how to avoid it. keep doing this and warm up is very good for the engine. i know some people think its useless to keep the bike start for such a long time but i feel it safe and atleast i can give it 4-5 minutes in the morning and after that ride the whole day without any issues. do ask any thing without hesitation. we have two gs at home and no doubt its a wonderful bike.

Thank you Amjad bro. I will give it a try... do you think I should use AX5 after 300km as I have one pack bottle of genuine oil? Otherwise it would be wasted. And as said by Junoon007, should I use these bottles? or save it for later on and try Zic... very confused guys

Jis ne bhi GD110 chalai hai mujse lekar. just for testing .... sab ne tareef ki hai.... aur jitni soft ride aur powerful hai ye apne engine k hisab se wo bilkul qaabil-e-tareef hai. Abhi mera bhai use kar raha hai GD and I bought this bike because I wanted a bike with bit more bigger engine.... dono ki class mey bohat farq hai... but GD ki apni baat hai aur GS ki apni ....

Thank you very much Sir. RPM mjhe thora zyada lag raha hai... and I think wo is liay k bike new hai tu Suzuki k mechanic jaan booj k zyada rakhtay hain start mey...
Aik question ye hai k engine is ka thora zarorat se zyada hot hojata hai... GD bhi hai ghar mey lkein wo jitna bhi chala lu tu bike band karnay k 7-10 min mey poori thandi hojati hai.... GS ka engine bohat hot hojata hai aur cool down honay mey 20 min tu kahin nahi gaye..

yes you can use Shell Ax5 than if you wish give a try to Zic 20w40
as you are complaining gears are hard this Zic 20w40 has impressed me
as i immediately noticed difference in gear shifting so far i have driven my bike
around 100km only with Zic 20w40 but there is no doubt gears have become softer in shifting

I would suggest save Castrol 20w50 bottles for hard summer than utilize them

garam honay ka issue is liye ho rha hai kiun k bike new hai. oil change hoga and rpm set hojae ga tou ye issue nhe hoga. when you go for the oil change, do tell the guy at suzuki motors to set the rpm. and try krna k oil change bhe kisi proper mechanic ya suzuki se ho kiun k road side mechanic ne new bike ka oil nut slip kr dia tha . shukar hai k gs k oil nut ki plate alag hoti hai tou mai ne puri change kr di for 450 rs

it might be far but the work done will be good and you will be satisfied from it and you wont have to visit them again and again for the same work. be careful for the rear tire. it slips alot when braking hard at speeds above 50 km/hr.
