    @affanashrafali bhai .. This free lifting choke on a jpapanese kiehen Carb with a indicated Jet size as @Axim indicated can be a good proof that it is actually a RM orignal Carb, the other carbs which have a 3 way choke even with same or bigger jet size may belong to other single piston scrambler bikes which were available in that era ....

    your interest and concerns are appreciable guys, will share some of photos tomorrow IA.
    update is this that i have got all my required items especially i had to have Magnet Coil, Silencers (with bigger bore/ Taiwan) and got these things.(Alhamdulillah)
    tomorrow is the day for Rockers only, then i will be on my bike (day after tomorrow probably)... but before that i am going to share photos tomorrow as friends demanded... i am on it now bus kal mausam thora saath de de Rwp/Isb ka.

    Ok, since i have almost completed the parts collection ( from multiple sources), i am about to start the engine over hauling of my RM.
    Just want to ask, what is the reliability of repaired crank and used crank from market (dubai import). i am stuck in deciding which one to go for. Although the mechanic has given me a hint that the crank does not seem to be having an issue, but it will be cleared once the engine is down.
    So just for the sake of information, experts enlighten me please.

    if you have other option than this than go for new one and if not than there is no way of selection, rebuilt it n go for it

    Rebuilding a crank is not difficult but re balancing is ....... If you know a credible mechanic know can ensure you a balanced crankshaft then go ahead.....
    Bikes don't leak oil, they mark their territory.

    @RX115: boss problem is best mechanic didnt agree as he didnt have time. more over he asks too much of amount to rebuild the engine.

    i have discussed your whole scene with @faheem Lala, hw also recommended the same mechanic bro, moreover, you know Faheem bhai's narrative regarding this.he will never ever suggest you to compromise on certain things.
