    Default CG 125 conversion to cafe racer

    Hi PW Bikers,

    Yes the thread title might sound crazy, absurd, newbie or surprising which is all but true. I've got a 2001 CG 125 standing and collecting dust. The chassis is in good condition though a little rusty. It was a gift from my grand dad and because of this emotional tag I can't let it go. The plan is to restore it to a vintage yet sporty and stylish look. Being a complete newbie to restoration/modification thing, here are a few questions I have:

    1- Good mechanics, denter painters in Lahore?

    2- can the 125 chassis support a higher capacity engine?

    3- estimated cost considering everything will be installed new/refurbished except the chassis?

    There is more to go! I have changes the fuel tank, and ordered a new custom made muffle, seat is done, paint job and wiring and some engine overhaul is left!

    BiKE par kafi QAAM hone wala as u mentioned PAiNT JOB hona but u didn't disassembled your bike? before converting it into CAFE?
    cz if you're talking about repainting the chassis i guess its the first step u do when making a CAFE

    the dismantling of the whole bike had already been done! After All the fabrication and denting The bike was assembled back for trial!now with minor tweaks it has passed the trial now its dismantled again and send for paint/ chrome/sandblasting/ galvanization of different parts.... After it arrives it will be assembled again, and then we will do the wiring ... However at the sametime i am also getting the engine overhauled!

    6 7 chakkar ...

    my fuel tank has not yet been finallized and its been 2 months and i have been explaining the design to my mechanic.... it has become a headache for me now

    You need to reduce the size of front mud gaurd, Get rid the 70cc 80's Model metre and head lamp, Instead put a single round head lamp and a kawasakti 110 speed meter will look awesome, about the sear cowl its still too big....! do think about redesigning it....

    MECHANiCs ko DESi ZUBAAN mein samjhana parrta hai, humari MODERN Zubaan nai chalti inke saamne.

    well mayne hud ye CHOOSE kiya to give it a CLASSiC LOOK!

    SiZE already REDUCE kiya va MUDGUARD ka no NEED mazeed cz in PAKiSTAN ROADs aksar he SAAF nazar aati bas rest of the YEAR u KNOW achi tarhan :p

    yep seat ka HATCH still berra hai is c MAZEED zaada Ser KHAPAi nahi thi hosakti DENTOR k sath, itna hogaya hai berri baat hai -_-

    ofcource the classic can come with a 125 cc 1970-1980 model round head light and metres if you can use em! How ever i knew this cowl wont be an easy job for a denter, so i choose to make a seat with a cowl instead of getting a fibre or metal cowl that u have rest looks perfect..


    and yes i know the paki roads lol
