Default Fuel Consumption of GS150 RP125 and CG125

I would like owners of these respective bikes to give their views on the mileage of their motorcycle.

Especially new owners, because i have to make a decision on buying between these soon.

Looking forward to your responses. :-)

    Owners' response:

    GS150: 42kmpl, 38-42kmpl(non E2) 42+(E2)
    RP125: 35, 40
    CG125: 40KMPL, 35KMPL

CG125 2009 Model ... no matter how hard i try, i don't go above 40KM/L ... and i have tried to abuse it as much i can, and it would still do 40KM/L. Meri bike mere saath siyasat khelti hay saali :\

Anyway, brand new bikes have their mixture set very rich. Something to do with engine running or whatever. After 5k kilometers, you reduce its oil and further reduce it to minimum after 10k KMs.

That being said, if a 125cc category bike gives you 40KM/L fuel average in city drive ... then bhai haath kharay kar do, and bike ki tanki choom lo :p

Gs can also give an amazing mileage of 50km/liter but it have to be properly tuned and we have to ride slowly to attain that mileage. One the other hand bro if you are looking for a good quality bike then i would advise you to go for RP125 it is an excellent looking bike with more features.

If you want a higher cc bike and 35km/l mileage is what you need why not go for cd 200 it will give around 40km/l and will cost you almost around 100k if your going to buy a new rp,cg,gs you will have to pay more than 100k and cd 200 will obliviously be better in built quality

sir jee i think it depends upon riding style.i usually rides at 60km/h and not rave hard and strech gears just once in 12 to 15 days i push it upto limits and 2nd thing, my daily route is also very clear, less traffic and less brakes.GS is economical bike indeed and 80 is its economy speed on highways
