Default Getting very low average on GD 110

    Assalam u alaikum

Nowadays I have a problem with my GD.. which is low average.. It is giving me 35-38 km per litre.. I contacted FR Suzuki then they said you can get 38- 40 km per litre in city and 50 on highways.. I said I was getting above 50 km per litre.. but unho ne yahi ratt lagai hui hai..
1st time mjhe FR Suzuki walo ne mayus kia..

Anyways ap log koi acha service centre batao jahan se me is ki tuning etc kerwa sakun takay is ka average behtar ho...

    specially @aqibasit .. u r getting ideal average mashaALLAH...

    thanks in advance

Waqas bhai pretend that you are riding a GS150 and all worries will go away.......
Aside from humor, have you checked the:
-tire pressure, make it according to the sticker on the chain cover.
-May be spark plug has worn out/not producing correct spark timing and as a result fuel is exiting the exhaust without being burned completely resulting in fuel wastage
-Check the chain whether it is offering resistance, if yes re lube it after cleaning
    -Maybe the wheels are misaligned
-Sometimes tappets are noiseless but they are still not calliberated correctly resulting in poor average/pick up

    Anyways hope that helps

FR motors is far far better than IG. i dont think IG will be able to solve the problem. FR have very skilled mechanics. there is an old guy at FR, with white hair, tell him about the issue. he might help you out. from where are you getting it tuned?

Just FYI, economy also depends on your riding style. Speed comes at an expense of more fuel consumption. So, If you're riding her like a "CHAMP" then thats likely the reason of poor fuel consumption...
I've a 2T Yamaha and you won't believe it but I regularly get 37km/l. Reason? I ride like a "DADA ABU"...! I get <28km/l whenever I ride her hard...

Suzuki GD110's have had this problem with fuel mileage ever since it got released. For some it got fixed, for others its still a major concern. I for one haven't been able to figure out whats wrong with the bike, and if its carb's problem.

As you have mentioned that you were getting good average around 50 and then now for some reason it has fallen to 35-38kms/lit. Bro, can you remind yourself what changes you have done recently to your bike, like Fuel station change, air filter change, mixture setting, route change, pillion riding, average riding speed, tyre air pressure, heavy tyre, wheel jam...etc

Have you checked battery condition because I have seen in GS-150 if battery is not good then fuel average marginally decreased.

For mixture setting, I have observed my mechanic incase of 150 and my Sprinter. He tighten (clockwise) the mixture screw to limit and then make 6 or 6.5 rounds of screw anti-clockwise. This way I use to get optimum mixture which is not to lean not too rich. Orange/brown plug will result in.

Try using AHL 15w40, or Zic 10w40 synthetic. Your mileage will definitely increase
    Also check these:
    - tyres are correctly inflated
    - drivechain correctly adjusted
    - with bike on mainstand check that the front and back wheels turn freely and that the brakes arnt sticking/dragging

Our Mechanics can only Tune simple carburetor. They can't Tune the CV Type Diaphragm Carburetors. Find someone other then Suzuki Mechanics. I also have this problem with Sprinter 2006 a local mechanic find the problem and now i am getting 60+ with pillion riding. Tune the Carb.

its sad to see you are disappointed with GD110 as you were satisfied with its fuel average
not many are satisfied with its average which includes fellow TZB & but there are happy
users too which includes you & fellow Aqibasit

if you personally ask me i would say its very good average the speed that you told is very high speed
at 80km/h if GD110 112cc gives 40km/lt its very good average considering speed
Pridor 100 gives very low average as low as 40km/lt when driven at high speeds like 80 & 80+km/h

Waqas bhai Zic 15w40 was this engine oil for motorcycles?
    there is Zic 10w40 & 20w40 i don't think 15w40 is available?
