I think deluxe is a comfortable bike. One thing is more Honda spare parts and mechanics are easily available in market. As per my knowledge Rp n Gs owners having trouble in maintenance and spareparts aswell.

My observations so far: GS: bad quality but good bike

Rp Owners are happy with no issues regarding quality. Great feature

The truth is, you'll still be in confusion even if this thread goes to 100 Pages or more!
Lets face it, we all are Pakistanis and we are well known for exaggeration...
Someone here thinks his GS is a "SWAN" but I think its a low quality bike... Far from a "SWAN"...! Besides, how a MOTORCYCLE can be a SWAN? Funny really!
Someone here thinks his RX115 is basically "Speed + Accuracy + Aggression" all combined in one; but to me, honestly its just one of several 80's commuter 2-Stroke bikes made to be as economical as possible with zero emphasis on performance but the guy with the above mentioned 'slogan' thinks otherwise! He talks about The RX like its as legendary as The Kawasaki H1 Mach III which is a 500cc 3-Cylinder 2-Stroke BEAST!
Some thinks Ravi Piaggio is the REAL Italian Piaggio but truth begs to differ... Italian Piaggio NEVER made a motorcycle, and never will... They're all about SCOOTERS! But those people will force you to believe its Italian... Again, Hilarious...!

Dear first of all no product is perfect even if you compare cbr600rr with ninja 636 and Yamaha R6.
Some people will say that cbr has poor throttle response or ninja 636 has no fuel gauge or that R6 has almost no low end power so it is a pain to ride it in town and the list goes on.
Similar case is in Pakistan like CG is the king of acceleration but it has too many vibrations and poor handling at high speeds, GS has great engine with minor vibrations and very durable and comfortable suspension but has many quality issues, Piaggio has the looks, the features and durability but it lacks good dealer support and the list goes on and on as no product is perfect.

And dear if a member calls his ride a swan or beauty or a bear, it is his opinion and it should be respected and it does not give people like you to make a mockery of his opinion.

If you can't contribute then just unsubscribe from this thread.

In your above so called analysis you have insulted GS, RX115 and Piaggio but you have not said anything about CG125, so just buy a damn cg and just end it because its people like you who craps a thread

Even if your intention is good you still have to choose your words very carefully and your post has little respect for others

What I meant basically is that most people here tend to exaggerate about their rides instead of being honest... They overlook their possession's flaws and entirely focus on its pros...
And this habit, my friend that persuades others to drop their hard earned cash on a bike that later turns out to be a piece of stool, unfortunately... Its just really REALLY sad.
My friend bought a so claimed "ITALIAN PIAGGIO" for 100 Grands (that's a lots of money for most of us) rode it for about an year and later ended up selling it for mere Rs:40,000. Poor guy saved up money for several year to get a 125cc machine, it was his dream... But now he's looking for a used Honda 70 cause he's broke...
He wouldn't have lost his money if he haven't read some biased owners reviews about the so called "PIAGGIO".
I'm just bitter so forgive my comments if they've offend you in any way. Ride what you like... I don't care as long as its not my money...
    RIDE SAFE.
    Peace.

Go for gs, u wont regret, more response, much better road grip, better fuel consumption, built quality is not great but far more better than honda 125s.. i've had both classic and delux 125 but now a fan of gs 150.. +100 for gs :-)

    People say things like:
Go for (put any bike name here) you won't regret it...
Go for (put any bike name here) cause it look promising...
My opinion, go for (put any bike name here)...
Seems like everyone has an opinion but not everyone has an EXPLANATION or REASON to back it up...
Explanation is what counts in my dictionary...
You want to held a voting among bike, ask here. You want a valid, genuine and authentic opinions with explanations? Well, in this case, be prepare to discover it among opinions! And let me tell you, its IMPOSSIBLE!
Now here a conclusion and I believe most people will be agree on it:
If you've a deep pocket and don't mind loosing cash on a bike and like some experimenting, then get a Chinese low quality bike specially the one that claims its Italian Technology... If you're tight on budget and can't afford to loose your cash, then stick with a well reputed brand with worthy resale value... So even if it turns out to be a garbage (which I highly doubt), you won't loose as much money as my friend I've mentioned in my previous post.
    Now, its up to you.
Lastly, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TO CLOSE THIS THREAD CAUSE IT'S ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED HUNDREDS OF TIMES WITHOUT ANY CONCLUSION...
    Peace.

There are so many owners, reviews, bike related stuff already available on this forum. So why we write same buying reasons again and again?

And IMO there is nothing wrong in asking suggestions and opening such threads. If it makes someone comfortable then let it be.

Bro what is the purpose of this forum? Is it sin to seek other suggestions and get feedback?

One of your friend bought and sold his bike for whatever reasons it's his personal choice. If you or your friend do not like the RP it does not mean rest of the world dislike it too. It is the matter of personal preference.

If one wants resale then he should buy nothing else except cd70 and Suzuki Mehran.

    No offense brother.

    Peace!

Its WAS NOT his personal choice, thats the point! He just read tons of biased reviews that led him to believe that ITALIAN PIAGGIO (which later turned out to be CHINESE "ZONGSHEN" PIAGGIO) is as good quality as an Atlas Honda! He initially wanted to buy a Honda CG but unfortunately he read some biased reviews and got hypnotized...
Unfortunately, his trance didn't lasted for long. His came to his own when his bike literally started to FELL APART. And now, I just feel bad about him everytime I see him on his 1992 Honda CD70!
Poor guy. Wanted a brand new 125cc but ended up with an early 90's 70cc bike...
