    Cool Review - Qingqi Trail DP 150cc

    Dear Friends..

    Sharing my experience of Qingqi Trail 150cc...

    Review Qingqi Trail DP 150cc -1422405

    Bike: Qingqi DP 150cc

    Model : 2014

    Category: Dual Purpose Trail

    Engine: 150cc Single Cylinder 4 Stoke Air Cooled

    Tank: 10 Lit

    Battery: 12V 7 AH

    Seat Capacity: 2 Person

    Starting System: Self & Kick

    Max Speed = 120km

    Break Front/Back = Drum

    Best Average Till Now = 38km/Lit

    ======================

    First Run of 380km from LAHORE TO ISLAMABAD

    1st Run

    Got Average of 29km/Lit, Very Much Comfortable in long ride no pain in shoulders & back, Pick is not good which is a big? Mark for DP Trail Category ? GS 150 Engine is far better in pick & Torque then this Engine.

    =======================

    1st Tuning

    Tuning & other thing which need to recheck (carburetor Cleaning & Setting, Taped Adjustment, Oil Pump Checking, Gear Ring Checking, Front Shock Oil Change & Setting, Break Leather Checking & Complete body Inspection & Tight up all the nuts & bolts.

    =======================

    2nd Long Run of 850 km Kashmir

    Got 38km/lit, Break Performance Increased, Smooth Shocks & better pick then before No Trouble on long run even continue ride of 8hr. Yes Missing on Peak heights which can be reduce in low gears but still annoying it will break your motion & speed. No problem in MUD, WATER (Event Half Engine in water) & ROCKS. Good Grip & breaking as well, shocks are very much comfortable on rocks.

    =======================

    3rd Long Run of 350 km Banjosa/Toli peer

    Got 34km/lit, Front Brake need service nut got slip, Smooth Shocks, & Missing @ height Toi Peer ... Remove the air filter to chk but same performance so need expert advice... Rest non stop all the way...

    1600 km on the Clock ...till now.

    ======================

    Engine Demonstration & Maintenance (Post # 47-52)

    =========================

    Parts Replacement / Availability

    After buying any brand which is unknown to market parts are as important as bike itself. Here is the list of the parts which I easily find in case of emergency Happy to see that all parts are easily available.

    Rear Brake Shoe = CG 125
    Clutch Cable = CG 125
    Front Brake Cable = CG 125
    Chain = CG 125
    Electric Coil = CD 70
    CDI Unit = Cg 125 (Grips need to Replaced if u need to put Orginal one of honda but if u need to put the same then u can get it Chinese brand)
    Carburetor = Honda Deluxe 125.
    Front back Lights Bulb = Honda 125

    ======================

    4rth Long Tour

    (Before Another long tour )

    ======================
    Rear Brake Shoe Changed = CG 125 Best Quality Used
    (Post # 83)
    Clutch Cable Changed = CG 125

    ======================

    TOP BOX
    (Post # 84-85)

    Bought Water/Heat proof Bag
    Capacity 16lit

    Good thing it comes with Plastic Containers which is inside of the box which sustain its shape & provide safety for inside things.

    =========================

    Overall Review: Satisfied with the performance & Handling, Light weight front make it much comfortable on sharp turns, and good in grip.

    Trip to Kashmir

    DAY -1
    ISLAMABAD - MUREE - KOHALA - MUZAFFARABAD - CHAKOTHI - MUZAFFARABAD
    Total km = 170km
    Time on Bike = 7 hr (Including Stay of 2 hr)

    DAY - 2
    MUZAFFARABAD - SHARDA
    Total km = 250km
    Time on Bike = 7 hr (Including Stay of 1 hr)

    DAY - 3
    SHARDA - KEL - TAOBAT (42 km TOTAL OFF ROAD MUD, ROCKS, WATER, GLACIERS, WATER FALLS)
    Time on Bike = 2.5 hr one side (Including Stay of 30 min)
    Petrol available at = JANDARWALA (30 Rs above the Market Price)
    TAOBAT - KEL - SHARDA - DOARIAN - LAWAT - KERAN - ATHMUQM - KUNDALSHAI
    Total km = 160km + 42km

    DAY - 4
    KUNDALSHAI - KUTTON - KUNDALSHAI - MUZAFFARABAD - KOHALA - MUREE - ISLAMABAD
    Total km = 220 km
    Total Time = 7 hr (Including Stay of 1:30 min)

    Well its very hard to trust china brand but i believe on testing..Thats why take a risk & move for 850km on this untested trail which change my opinion after coming back... Although more than 35 more trail of different brand are with me but it never let me down weather it was fuel average, Long Run , Off road, Water , Mud etc ... Give me pleasure that a rider want from his ride...

    One thing that i have edge on all trails that is it is 2014 Model ..

    Other laugh on mine because of Qingqi brand...But I laugh on them because nobody have 2014 Model till now...

    Thx for the input

    In My opinion Carburetor need replacement as it is purely china made & not design for high altitude ... Rest i play alot with Plug, Air filter & little bit with tapped ...Nothing special happen ..

    Will share Pic while playing with it on top TOLI PEER ....
