Woaah!! That's on average 950 Rs. of increase per month, which definitely is higher than generic inflation rise per year.
But this year alone, the rate has increased a lot. I guess, GS 150 will be like 200,000 PKR in a year or two.

A rate HIGHER than your or mine average salary increment - HAHAHA

@TZB and @moons, @JustFarooq thanks guys for your complements!

@khanthegr8, Disclaimer: Top speed does not matter. This is a commuter bike with performance. Over-speeding KILLS.

Now back to the stuff which is fun but deadly (unique combination of words according to local newspapers)

I already tested it for the guy in thread "disappointed owner of gs 150" (yea i know not recommended but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do). Search the forums.

This thing easily goes to 8-10k rpm cruising at 65 km/h on third gear. I tested it to 115 km/h, which was max on the little busy Friday afternoon. I heard if you know the exact gear shift timing and rpm, you can hit at 130 km/h.

But stopping from that is gonna take time. The stop-distance for that is 30 meters according to my tests with drum breaks

    Damn, what a pity

    You wish sir!
The stopping distance of even a disc brake equipped bike is this:

    Black Alien - New GS 150 (2014 model) - ydedu4e9

Must have taken ur GS with stock tires and drum brakes 100+ meters to complete stop from 115kmph

I have some fresh stats from my new gs. Filled 9.5L and bike has done 330km but still reserve pr nai aya. There was 1-1.5L already in tank at the time of filling

Ive only gone till 70 and at that speed you cant hear it and u cant feel it. Like literally this bike has a really low sound on speed which is really pleasurable on long roads.

recently my gs gave me 430 kms in 9.5 litres of petrol. 330 in running phase is not bad at all and it will do even more

Yea alhamdulillah its going great sirf clutch say satisfied nai hun. I mean in first gear if i pull clutch lever the engine makes a werid 'clunk' noise. Like clutch is being engaged slightly. Ill get this sorted out at 1st tuning

most probably its because of the rear drum rubber which is quite soft in new bikes and cause this sound. i am not sure if it is the same sound. but change the drum rubber when you take it for the tunning. it costs 100 rs but will make the gear shift more smooth and soundless

Yes im also riding at this range and rpm is 5-5.5k. To the engine isnt really stressed which means good economy. In city riding i havent felt the need of any more speed

Quite the right sir. Seems like I wasn't including reaction distance in it.
Pity for disc brakes as well - lolz
