Default motorcycle making knocking/katak-katak noise in 3rd gear after chain droped frm sprkt

    hi
i was feeling very lazy so i didnt paid attention to the fact that my chain was very loose and (wasnt lubricated for quite few months while using it withoug chain cover)

so bad thing happened.. yesterday its chain got loged out of the rear sprocket and one of its link got loged in the rear brake adjuster nut and it was bent.. but worst things happened after i put the chian back.the bike was ok in first gear.. after engaging second gear it started giving katak katak sounds .. so i shifted to 3rd gear it was ok in 3rd gear . tried 4th gear and it was ok there .. i rode for few kms then i stoped again and after starting it again the noise started coming from 3rd gear instead of 2nd gear.

    what could be wrong ?
seems like crankcase is gona be opened ?

any idea what could have went kapput ?

    thanks

Check for damage on the chain links and rollers first.

thee is no issue in 1st.2nd.4th gear at any rpm .

however i went to mechanic and opened the engine it were the 3rd gear teeth that were broken. besiedes tehre was some other little bearing that was also broke. these were replaced along with some other minor damaged parts. total cost 1200 mazdori... and some 1600 in parts..

damn it just a chain got dislodged and got this much loss.

for the time being i had installed qingqi 100 cc piston in stock cylinder (bored) but it is leaking pressure .. it was late night when the rebuilt completed.. will install fiber gasket as the one currently installed is cd 100 metallic one and i always have extremely bad experience with it.

Get a copper built head gasket, if not that than an aluminum based one.

these are alien materials regarding gaskets here..
however i had bought standard 4 or 3 plate metallic gasket and had used the inner thick metal sheet but it was leaking ..

now it is replaced with fiber gasket and it is ok now.
