Default Calling all bikers, something of your own benefit.

    Hello two-wheelers!
What I am about to share is extremely important for your own safety as well as of those riding with you.
A while ago I was coming back from Jinnah Super, was entering the Centaurus flyover's underpass, on the Expressway. Around 200 metres ahead of us were a girl and boy riding on a 70, who later turned out to be siblings, there was no other car or bike in that stretch at that time.
What we saw next was shocking. All of a sudden the bike went towards the pavement, slammed into it and we saw the two people rolling on the road in the left-most lane. I was travelling with my friend, we immediately stopped our car to see them. My friend went towards the passengers while I picked their bike up and parked it at the side.
A terrible tragedy had happened, the girl was severely injured, her head had hit the pavement hard and she was barely moving. We quickly reversed our car near her and along with the help of some other bikers, who had also stopped after us, put her on the back seat and told the boys to come to PIMS.
We drove the car as fast as possible and reached PIMS in a very short time. I quickly grabbed the stretcher and when I opened the rear door, I was stunned. The girl was almost unconscious to such a level that I became shocked because of the fear that these might not be her last breaths.
We got her in the Emergency Ward and some nurses immediately rushed to her, who after a while shifted her to another ward where she was being given a glucose grip and in a while a doctor came who along with a nurse started examining her and applying the stitches, the poor girl was screaming badly out of sheer pain, I got out of the ward as I cannot see human blood, I start losing my senses.
In the meanwhile her brother had also reached, he had injuries but minor ones. After a good 20 minutes we forcibly got him to the doctor so that he gets treated too, all that was on his mind was his sister. Poor boy was too much tensed and we did our best to console him and assured him that we were there until situation gets normal.
As it was well beyond 11 p.m., all of the people in position of authority I know in PIMS were not answering their phones, I was trying this so that they could get quality treatment.
Then some men of their family came, they thanked us a lot including the boy himself and then we left the place but I got the phone number and address of that boy, will go in a few days In Shaa Allah to inquire about their health.
The cause of the crash was the girl's dupatta which somehow got stuck in the rear wheel and bike went out of control and slammed in the pavement.
What I want to emphasize from the above incident that dear bikers please ride carefully and instruct everyone else to do so as well. Plus ask your rear passenger, whether a man or a woman, to take extreme care of their clothes, and it seems awkward but both passengers should wear a helmet. Had that girl worn a helmet she would not have received a head injury which could have proved fatal for her.
    Take care!

Situation -- nicely explained. Hope the girl recover soon from this incident.

in most of the case the bikers chain cover is missing and becomes a cause easily.

Bikers need to be well versed with precautions, both himself and the passenger behind.

@aliusman yes you pointed out really right women on back seats should must take care of their clothes which usually touch real wheel spokes and wheel drum. I myself many times told to many riders k bhai apkay peechay jo khatoon baithe han unka dupata kind of stuff wheel mei a rha hai I think without hesitate we should warn rider bcoz other wise rider can face mishap.

Whenever you're with female on the bike make sure your whole stock Chain cover is there, second good rear footrest must be there keeping gape between the tyre and tell them to hold or fold dupatta in hand....

I must appreciate the effort you did for that girl, you might just have saved her life! :-) May God bless you.

And bro it is not awkward for reae passenger to wear helmet. Is getting a loved one killed less awkward? In Pakistan we take safety for granted and ive seen people carrying small kids on bikes, only the rider is wearing helmet :-( please guys make sure both the rider and pillion wear helmet, should be rider's responsibility.

Again man thanks for reminding and for saving that girls life. A top of the hat for you.

Brothers Allah ka karam hai uss ne hum jaisay gunahgaaron se yeh naiki karwai.
Rest all I can say is that we direly need a campaign which educates the bikers about the possible hazards and how they can avoid them by riding properly. Just like driver and passenger sear belts are enforced by law same should be done for bikers that both passengers wear a helmet and a heavy fine should be imposed for non-compliance so that everyone follows such a law.

    thanks bro
an awareness campaign needs to be launched at any cost and fines should be imposed on bikes without side mirrors and if pillion rider is not wearing a helmet, just like seat belts are being enforced for driver as well as passenger.
