    Cool Bought a CG-125 2003 model! Planned to upgrade to 200! :)

    Assalamu Alaikum Guys!

    As the title says i have bought a dead cg 125 recently. I am planning to upgrade it to 200 which includes changing of crank, piston, head and a few more things i cant remember. will soon post the pictures

    If you haven't started the project I would say drop the idea instead of boring engine buy a xl180 engine It will be much more powerful,more economical and more cheap as it is bolt to bolt swap on cg

    Dear the engine boring has been completed its getting fitted by the so called USTAd . Can i know how much an xl180 engine would cost!

    If that 180 engine kick back fire while starting then it will free your ankle for sure, and braking would also remain an issue as disk does not match the front shock angle set up, front wheel lift up during first gear shoot would also remain an issue due to shorter wheel base, so you end up with a totally confused and impractical bike.

    sir I am not a very strong guy but I can kick start a xl-180 a friend mine own one I don't think it so hard to kick yes have to apply much more force than cg but a xl-180 back fired when kick it for first gear shoot if you can't handle it use cg carb and as most of ppl call it cb 180 so as cb series bike has 18" most of ppl ad rear 18" in it

    It can be kick started but I mentioned its back fire consequences

    Carb is not an issue, the issue is the chassis capability to handle the power

    and about brakes, even disk is not suitable for its chassis

    but even then if one likes it with all these flaws then its up to ones choice, but safety is high in my priority list
