Doesn't matter much on facebook, i am sure they dare won't do it on their official website.

Meanwhile i think it's about time we report the disappearance of Yamaha after their TVC (sort of)

Apparently, DYL isn't dead yet... Good news. Why some people here want to see DYL dead is beyond me. Regardless of its dated offerings, there're probably thousands of people working at DYL and are earning their living there.
WE ALREADY HAVE TONS OF JOBLESS PEOPLE AROUND, don't we?
Kindly think as a NATION, not as a person.
I just wish they make something modern with old 80's build quality...

BTW, The so called GENUINE JAPANESE YAMAHA isn't offering anything "cutting edge" either. Look at YBR... Regular twin shocks and forks without any adjustment, air cooled engine with just 2 valves, single cam, kickstarter. Its only saving grace is alloy rims so it 'might' use tubeless tires, electric start and fuel injection. Ha!
I'll give you a hint: KTM DUKE... Just compare its specs with The YBR...

k-4-9 I cant agree more on this one... 100% correct..

last day on PBC monthly meeting we were discussing the same point...

1 - If you Guys who are waiting for YBR like its a Super Bike from mars.... let me tell you its the most lousiest 125 class bike in Indian Yamaha Line Up ... bu ha ha ha ha h ha ha h ha ha ha ha

2 - India's know how lousy in power it is (even CG is 124cc this one is 123cc only) so they did not bothered to put even a disc brake in it and offered it as drum brake for Economical buyers of market as there cheap bike in lower end.

3 - Last nail in Coffin for people with JAPANI "keera" in there cavity some where... Its comming from same Chinese sources from where the GS150 and GD110 is commming.. lolxx

Enough about the down sides, I dont think any of the above mentioned point is negative enough, because Introduction of YBR is giving sleepless nights to AHL and RAVI Storm manufacturers are already in comma.

I hope DYL continues to Rise Just Like Hero Corp India who even became more famous after getting free from honda and now as Hero Corp there are much bigger market Gaint then Honda it self in India.

DYL should take that as a role model.

    you sir are total Buzzkill.
I am not too excited about this bike too, except that it will bring good competition to the market. So it's a win win for us customers.
Though i am excited about what might follow... (thinking of 150cc pushing 14BHP or something like that )

Till then my interest in YBR is " will its discbrake fit on my GS?"

AHL is not showing any sign of it. They seem to be using a wait-indifferently-and-see strategy.

People are not fans of ahl. They are fans of the honda brand name. If honda leaves them they will die slowly but surely

Precisely. Our mindset is: "If it ain't says HONDA (or any other Japanese Brand) on the tank, its junk".
Remember when DYL started selling their Dhooms with 'DYL' badge instead of 'Yamaha' ones when their contract expired? People got very suspicious and steered away from them even though it was literally the same bike albeit with a different name and sticker...

Yes thats a good strategy in it self but they are working on many horizons to fight back one is that they are going to reduce prices in various models to keep them the highest selling in any case....

Exactly, why should Yamaha introduce a bike with "count me in too" approach rather they should introduce a bike with "give me way" approach otherwise people would be interested in its spare parts only like fitting its disk brake in GS or fitting its self start in Deluxe

Continue to rise with DYL Dhoom 70 btw what can be the expected price if Yamaha introduces R15 in Pakistan, with water cooled engine and rear disk brake I don't think it would be cheap.
