Default Teri yaad aayi tere janay k baad...Sprinter Standard demand increasing....

Like the norms here, people are now start liking Sprinter Standard which has been replaced by Raider - teri yaad aayi tere janay k baad. A product in production, bekar hai, expensive hai, pehlay wala xiada acha tha, in result no value at all. Jaise he production stopped...bohot zabardast cheex thi..bla bla bla, ready to get now on a much higher rates... strange mentality.

    Why I am saying this...

Yesterday, (for a helmet search) I was passing through the Akber Street Karachi (main area for motorcycle sale purchasing) on my Sprinter Standard, I was stopped by almost every shopkeeper asking 'Bhai bike sale kerni hai... sale kero ge...haan bhai bike deni hai'. It was getting difficult for me to stay there and I smiled to each saying nahi sir jee...no dear...no brother.

    The thing to consider is...

I have been to this street many times before on my Sprinter but no one except few asked the same k bike bachni hai.

On return to home, I visited my mechanic (who is an expert in Suzuki motorcycles and now a dealer too) and narrated him the situation. He also smiled and said to me k 'bhai mera bhi bura haal ker diya hai logon ne her banda Sprinter ka poch raha hai'. He also told me k is waqt Karachi ki market me Sprinter Standard ki demand high hai aur bikes short hein. He even asked me if I am interested in selling. He did say the same thing loag ajeeb hein jub aik bike ana stop ho jati hai tub us ki qadar hoti hai....jis ko bura keh rahay hotay hein usi ki tarefein kerna shoru ho jatay hein.

He recently arranged a bike for his customer, it was 2011 model and sold for around 47K (as per the condition) which was selling in thirties earlier. [I know the increased new Suzuki bikes prices is a factor but the demand graph right now was never there before].

as per my view i welcome new entrants in market whether there spares available or not even new bike won't make problem until 3 years if properly maintained as my bike cosmetic spares won't available so i take much care than usual

Nothing different dear... almost same reviews are now for Raider, which was in market for Sprinter Standard.

On a positive note, things are now changing for sure as people are now getting aware and now tend to think Suzuki or Yamaha or Ravi. Mein te Honda , Chonda he lessan is getting weaker now.

well that is good sign but hopefully the no increases what is really painful thinking of
urban & rural areas people is same atleast the change should start from ubran areas
big cities than slowly slowly it will spread in small cities but unfortunately here cities people
and small city or village people have same thoughts and thinking of motorcycles

Yamaha entry in nothing less than blessing suzuki have been trying but motorcycle business is just part
time for them their real focus is in cars market

Yamaha is the last hope if they fail its cg & cd for eternity in pakistan

nothing new .. nothing specific to suzuki sprinter..

every second hand bikes dealers behave same in their repulic (street/market)
for pindi guys just take any damn fd up bike and go to waris khan where there are second hand dealers.
sometime they dont even ask if you want to sell they would rever then engine .. touch the engine .. monky around wiht bike and say this is what i want to pay you .. when told that i was just passing by here they would then ask to sell it..

    mechanics are quacks..

Yea i doubt the sprinter has suddenly become in demand, its one of the lowest selling bikes of this country (sales so low it was discontinued). I have a 2013 model probably one the last suzuki sold. Every dealer does this for every bike

Firstly, I didn't say anywhere that this is somewhat specific to Suzuki Sprinter. Secondly, I just tried to share my latest experience, based on this I concluded a better demand of Suzuki Sprinter in the market now (than before) and that is a fact (atleast for the market here)...that's it.

I do not know whether mechanics are quacks or Waris khan is second hand dealer and his way of business...peace!!!

And I think dealer do not do this to every bike or they do not behave same for every second hand bike.

Here, one should go on a 2 stroke bike... dealer ne ap ki taraf dekhna bhi nahi hai...kion...kion k demand nahi hai....

same was the case with me...kuch arsay pehlay jb sprinter per jata tha tou bohot kum dealer roktay tha lakin kal her dosra dealer ne roka..kion...koi tou wajah thi na...ager demand same hai means low hai tou dealer itna active kion ho gaye hein...koi tou wajah hai na...

This is what I conclude - teri yaad aayi tere janay k baad . There is increase in demand for Sprinter Standard now which was not there before.

I do not know whether mechanics are quacks ( certainly not all. do read the assertions about quacks in general/isolated way.. red it in context of above... but some are master quacks.. they try to convince that what you have is the best and you have to check it formt eh best and spend the best on it. thats y they are recomending janyan honda parts for chondas)or Waris khan is second hand dealer and his way of business...peace!!! waris khan is not a man or dealer of second hand. its a market by this name

And I think dealer do not do this to every bike or they do not behave same for every second hand bike.

This is what I conclude that there is increase in demand for Sprinter Standard now which was not there before. most probably it has become a collector item there.. which happens when bikes are discontinued....
