    Default Lightweight Parts for Honda and Chines CD70 Bikes

    I would like to know if there is any lightweight parts are available for 70cc bike, because my main concern is to reduce overall weight for fuel economy and speed. I also search for aftermarket products which can help to reduce fuel consumption to max but i didn't found any.

    There are no lighter internal parts available for cd70 or replica of cd70 but you can anyday reduce weight by lathe and later forge them to strengthen them

    Yes its nice to experiment but bit difficult too, i searched a lot on web also but didn't found any project done before on this bike. Please do share if there is any.

    AHL CD 70 is very much optimize for fuel economy, try to drive as per recommendations and CD 70 is not made for speed. Please consider it, your life may be more important to your family. I have bitter experience of speed over CD 70 ..

    you can replace front metal fender with after market light plastic fender
    and if you have older model cd70 those whose seat were of metal i suggest
    replace it with newer model seat they are light weight as compare to previous

    I'm totally agree with mfdevesh, but i want to find any way to optimized more for economy. As amjad635 share about plastic fender i think it will last longer, reduce weight and also rust proof.

    Shorter gear ratio of final drive (sprocket) can give you better lower end torque while taking away top end torque this will make bike easier to move from standstill which means better mileage in stop and go traffic

    But don't you think alteration in sprockets effects engine performance, i think default configuration ratio is much better if clutch and acceleration use lightly.

    Sprocket by default is set to give you best of everything you can change it ratio to get what you want by losing what you don't need in your case economy and not speed BTW you can restrict exhaust a bit and it will perform like a exhaust header it will give you extra lower end torque by taking away high end torque again a hot air intake will give you a extra lower end torque by taking a bit high end torque

    Which will be the best combination of sprockets you recommend for Honda cd70 and it's clone. I don't know about gain in economy with sprockets setup.

    Change front sprocket to 13 from 14 don't mess with rear sprocket
