    Default Break in period!!

I know this topic has already been discussed thousands times but one question is stucked in my mind & never got a clear answer to it.

My question is, Most of the new bike owners are told that DO NOT ride double (2 persons) while bike is in running period as it will put additional weight on the bike new engine and i am certainly unable to understand this logic as every person weight is different so my how come double sawari is going to harm or destroy the engine?

    Thanks in advance 😊

Your mixing it actually they want to say that don't take too much work from your ride while it's running is not complete.
As it's in running period the piston, valves, bearings etc etc are not in optimum working condition they are hard, rough not smooth the way they should be and taking load which increase friction.....and because of that friction engines temperature increases which further results in seiz

if you weight about 70 to 80kg then it's better to drive it alone but again brother you can even drive with two persons sitting at the back but for shorter distance and slowly.

    As i said it's friction
engine will take no time to heat up due to friction, as in running the strength of that friction is stronger so it's better to change engine oil earlier

There is certainly no issue in pillion riding in new bike's, its just a local Pakistani mechanic self created illogical funda.
Non of the manuals of any manufacturers of motorcycle mention such thing's.
Enjoy yr new ride with yr friend or family without being afraid of its break down. First 1k km is the best time to test yr bike shocks, electric etc.
Just don't rev very hard , do not ride on constant speed and don't touch red line while in first 1k km running period.

I have seen pistons being cast by poor labours on crude machines in pakistan. Every made in pak motorcycle needs a break in period. At every step of manufacturing a random sample is drawn and inspected for defects. It is not possible to inspect 100% products due to resource constraints and production size. Care is taken but you cannot take out human error.
