    Default Problem with roadprince 70 charging

    My bike roadprince 70 battery is not charging.i have checked the battery charging voltage.its 4.5 when race is at initial and goes maximum at 7.9 which is alot less to charge a 12v bike battery.any recomendations ?

    Check the capacitor (I always forget what that component is called).....also check the coil.

    Check if battery is ok. I suspect some cells with battery are dud
    And hm that means new battery

    Check if the battery charger is giving current to battery. In my case when i brought ravi 70 i have same problems but it went away on around 1200kms.

    The current is 7.9v maximum.so its alot less to charge a 12v battery .what should i replace ? Dont know the parts

    The battery is ok.and working the vlotage coming is very less

    Where is the capacitor located .what is the black component rectangular in shape?

    Hassan Its called Rectifier component which charges battery
