    Default High Octane in CD70

    AoA members.. Is there anyone using high octane on regular bases? i want to know if there is any harm using it on regular basis in my Honda CD70(2015)?

    I think of try high octane. but petrol pump boy told me its not for bikes, I dont know exactly. But I think it should be good for bikes.

    no differences. only used for engine with 10+ compression ratio.(heavy bikes like honda CBR 150R)

    higher octane number means more resistance to pre mature ignite thats it.

    if you use low octane ( normal petrol 64rs liter ) on high compression ratio engine then there is chance of premature ignite(knocking) which can blend engine intake/exhaust valve and damage engine .

    people claim hi octane give more power and milage but in reality it doesnt .its just a normal fuel with more power to withstand pressure.

    using it in your average compression engine means you will be cleaning it out quite soon as it literally will coke up the combustion chamber.
