    So you must be one of Cheema, Bajwa, Bhatti, Gill or Tiwana.

    I have Cheemas, Bhattis, Tiwanas, Dhillons, Turs, Benipals among my close reletives.

    Infact, the diesel engine has much of torque and it is low on bhp levels. The fuel economy is to high with figures ranging from 65-70 kmpl for 325 cc lombardini engine.

    Also it is the job of big clutch plates attached to the main engine though twin chains and gear ratios to handle the raw power ouput of the diesel unit.

    The only problem with the bike initially was that it broke too many clutch cables, fuse the bulbs and jerk the rider. Also the engine oil changes intervals were shorter.

    But the engines shown above are much refined and are available only for the export versions mainly to the european markets.

    Here the Diesel Bullet Taurus Bike is mainly liked by the Milkmen and small time farmers in its simple avtar for its ability to haul big loads at very low running costs. Dont be amazed to find it doing farming jobs here.

    Bajaj has its own R&D, all the parts made are local including the engine.
    Even TVS has its own R&D.
    I'm not sure bout Hero Honda,the parts are local,but the engines are made in colaboration with Honda.

    @Vaqas1

    Indian bikes are almost as (if not more) refined and reliable as the Japanese bikes available in India.

    Compared to the Cheap Chinese, Indian bikes are far far ahead in quality. thats why there are no Chinese bikes ever sold in India. The chinese tried to sell their "cheap" bikes in India but Indians totally rejected their poor quality products.

    This proves the quality of Indian bikes

    The chinese bikes were also not popular here 1 year and there market share was not more then 15% but now the market share is almost 45% reason the quality of these bikes improved in the last 2 years and they are becomin better...

    Indian bikes are better they are trying for latest technology and also better design not like us we are still using 80s,70s frams and engines...
