    @ dawudi

    i have the brake light problem in my sprinter more than 4 months now...took it to suzuki...they say its BULB problem and u need to replace the rear bulb....when i take to electrician he replaces bulb, says u need to replace brake switch which we dont have...u should get it from suzuki and same crap goes on...

    @ bilal

    well yaar dont know abt ECO, but i have checked my meter with a CD 70 of my friend and its same...when i went to college, my friend had same college in inter and we are from same area as well...one day he asked me "Yaar note kee hai reading yahaan say ghar kitnay kilometer hai??" and it was the same as he observed on his 70....wesay i think you must be mistaken....coz when u see SPRINTER ECO advertisement on TV, watch carefully when the ad is abt to end... there comes something like HISC APPROVED....which means some big organization has approved its mileage

    yaar mere paas sprinter(not Eco.) hai 2004 ki. and believe me its a very gud bike yaar. very smooth. powerful. stable speed of 110KM+ due to its design and weight in front portion. 3rd gear main 100KM per ja sakti hai. petrol avergae 40 to 45KM per liter approximately. i dont know why people say its gives u 60 Km per liter..? gear agay peechay hain( 1st gear agay baki 3 peechay). it costed me about 63000 at that time and it's worth it. I dont know about new one's and Eco. maybe u wouldnt believe but its more speedy than honda 125. Honda 125 90Km ki speed per bohot light sa ho jata hai aur us per darr lagta hai. but no doubt honda 125 is nice bike too. tc bikers.

    "as everybody know Sprinter's rear tire touches its fender with two persons."

    i took my bike to showroom and whatever they could do they adjust the Shocks to max. height, but problem did not resolved to as it should be. mean, when two heavy persons are riding, the problem came back. then i myself turn the corners of fender to outside and invert the bolts. Now the problem is almost resolved to 90%. But the height of bike is increased and it has became some stiffen due to adjustment of Shocks. i want to restore that now.

    Now i am planning to remove it's original fender and make some alternations with it and putting a plastic fender, like in trails, which must have enough gap between tire and fender body, as it is in GS-150.

    We used to ride 3-4 persons on CD70 or 125 and nothing happened to it (Except change of Shocks) but it never touched tire. On sprinter you have to have an intellegent assessment when a 2nd person is considered to be ride on it.

    plz give ur suggestions about that, see pics

    Its so disappointing for new buyers. Every body says that sprinter is good bike with a powerful, reliable and economical engine. I was also going to buy one, but thanks to all the guys for pointing out this problem.

    I have seen some bikes who have removed their sprinters rear indicators and attached them to a bracket under the seat.

    I will wait for the new model. Suzuki masters might correct this problem.

    @tigerride

    Isnt there any better solution like adjusting the shoks at top height or bike lift like using a longer lenght shock of some other model

    @junky
    No doubt exept this Fender problem and the Tough Hard Seat, Sprinter is a powerfull, reliable and economical bike.

    The rear indicators are not attached with the fender, they are attacted to chasis (under seat) default by factory. (i don't like these stupid indicators, i am going to change them after some while).

    i have done New Poshish of it's seat but no effect except it looks better now, actually it has became more worst in hardness and uncomfortabality.

    i think i am near to solution of this fender problem without much risk.
    last day i went to bilal gunj and found this old fender (SD110) which is in two pieces, half plastic and half metalic. at this time it is more rusty than metalic. it need some repairing. i will fix that after some workout done with it.

    hope it will work.

    here u can see it in current condition i have it.

    @tigerride

    I read from the sprinter brochure that its rear tyre is 6 ply, whereas in yamaha its 4 ply.

    Doese this makes a difference.

    I mean if we change the rear tyre with one of less thickness, that migh solve the problem.
    Could it be possible.

    Do comment.

    Thanks

    @ bike junky
    brother, people go for thick and fat tyres to remain stable and smart on roads. i had been using 6Ply in my cd70, and for sprinter going back to 6ply to 4 ply is not a good idea.

    it would definately effect on grip of the bike. As u know, the height of sprinter is somewhat more than that of Yamaha etc, changing tyre to slim, i think it would be a risk to turn the bike on high speed.

    with all this, inspite of having a thin tyre, i will prefer to remove the FENder or ride a bike WITHOUT a TYRE....8)...hmmmm

    Brother, I just asked that whether it would solve the problem, as I am also interested in buying a sprinter eco.

    If you need grip than its not good to change tyre, but i dont care about grip because i am not rash driver and have good control.

    Talking of road grip, I think its width of tyre not its height that makes the grip. And if you lose some tyre height by using less material on tyre, that can be compensated by a little extra width and problem solved.

    May i tell u a story

    i know three more people who have sprinter. one have Eco slighlty used and one has bought just 2 weeks before when i bought a new sprinter. and one of them have 08 model bought in end of Jan.

    they are not too much caring about their bikes.

    i had tried to convince them all that their bike's rear tyre must be touching the fender with two riders and u must concern. they denied. At last i had a ride on bad roads to check it myself and show them the REALITY that they are not ready to accept but there was really nothing in reality. and moreover there Shock Absorber setting is also set to factory default where as i have adjusted them very long. As i tell u that one of them is just two week older than my bike, i mean same color, model no. series etc. i am the only in those poeple who is facing this problem.

    Now what do u say about buying a sprinter.

    So,

    what i did, Firstly adjusted the shocks to their maximum height but issue was not very much clear so i
    pulled out the fender from the end against Tyre and, remove the bolts with flat bolts with Nut outside, u can see them in pics.

    but i don't like this thing
