    welli have driven both...

the initial pick of CG 125 is better than CG 125 Deluxe....CG 125 is more for CHHANKARAAS and CHHICHHORAY type kids who just want to be very quick after the green lite turns on at signals and want their front tyre to lift up all the time...
CG 125 deluxe is way more matured bike....although it has lesser pick in 1st gear but its high end torque is better than CG 125....

both have almost same top speeds....the CG 125 deluxe, according to my friend who owns it, went to 125kmph and it only happend once coming down from bridge...

CG 125deluxe has way better aerodynamic shape with some kool instrumentations and front disc brake...its shock absorbers are also better than CG...

CG 125 deluxxe is also better when you are touring at some distant places and gives u UNTIRING feeling unlike CG 125 which will just make u feel as ur back is gona break anytime going far off places...

overall i think DELUXE is much better choice than CG 125

I drive Delux..after a long time Honda brought a change in its street biks..
and agree with extrimest...as he appreciated Delux,
I observed tht delux is so soft and quite silent (than normal CG),
Delux has good road grip than noraml CG, but one thing tht i disliked may be other boys dont agree with me, actually when i applied its disk brake, i feel whole bike pushes towards the front and feels sudden im-balancment (suddenly rear wheel loos the grip & front shocks fully pressed),
in this situation if a someone rides on 80 or 90km and have to apply disk braks in rushy road, than how a rider keep concentrat on bike's balance..jaisy Kawasaki ki disk brake lagaty he rider front per ajata tha, waisy he Delux ki situation hai,
2nd ye k mane shayed es liye ziyda feel kiya hai bcoz i use Suzuki110 with disk brake, os mai rider ko front brake lagany mai aysi paryshani nahi hoti..aor bike bohat ziyada front side pe nahi jhokti..
plz share ur comments...what u say...?
    ALLAH is my best friend...!!!

    @Alone_Munda

Janab, i have driven both the bikes. I find no such problem with the delux disc brake, actually i think you are just not using the brake right.

Honda and Suzuki are two different companies.

Honda is good in fitting and Suzuki is good in sitting. I think you will have an idea from that.

Suzuki's disc brake containing bikes are much more suffisticatedly adjuted and assembled than Honda. They are assembeled here, but the parts are more compatible in Suzuki.

On the other hand, when you drive HOnda 125 delux or CG, the first feeling you got is "hard, stiff, rough" type, and in Suzuki, you feel first time, as comfortable as you are sitting on a Sofa, (i am talking about GS 150-125), that is the real difference i feel.

The brakes are excellent in CG 125 Delux. You might have not had a good experience on that i think so.
success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm

agreed with xtremist, CG-125 have more road grip, deluxe is more comfortable, on highway i tried it upto 115 km, deluxe is a way better in speeding then CG (only on highways) coz of its sporty wheels n aerodynamic design.

i have been riding bikes for some period of time now...and im again compelled to say that the honda 125 deluxe just isnt the bike...it looks more like a desperate attempt to stay in market against the gs 125/150 of suzuki...the honda cg125 is by far the better bike of the two in many departments which i have explained in other topics and there is no need to repeat them

If you consider the long run aspect, then the non-deluxe model is a lot better. It has been discussed here before as to why.

    My $0.02,

    Deluxe rocks.
and it pwns all ur other local bikes.
    plain and simple.

if you cant memorise what i said above, just repeat the following line 125 times.

    "Deluxe owns me"

I anytime will prefer Deluxe version over regular 125 & Suzuki GS125/150 can be beaten by Honda 125 deluxe in almost every aspect.
    thanx

foosa it really depends on ur perception of beauty, and well choice also.

To me, all regular bikes like CD70, CG125 Regular etc are nothing more than bicycles now.

May be they might be of some value to you, but if you look at things with a little sense-of-beauty in mind, Deluxe is the first bike that should come up, if ur criteria is Pakistani bikes.
