Default Any benefits of using Hi-Octane fuel in bikes?

Is there any benefits of using Hi-Octane fuel in our bikes? Does it make any difference in acceleration or torque in 70cc bikes? How about 110, 125 or 150cc bikes?

    -Cleaner engines?
    -Bike runs more efficent?
    -More KMPL?
    -Benefits outweigh the cost?
    -Longer engine life?
    -Less problems?

Just some things I could think of for now. Please let me know what your results were using Hi-Octane compared to regular fuel.

I want to know if its worth that extra 10-12 rs per liter.

    Nope just waste of money.
Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

as far as i know all the fancy bikes run on high octane.
for the mentioned bikes it would be just a waste of money

Hi octane Fuel is used in Performance Engines to reduce premature ingition which cuases engine knocking & some time may also damage parts. There is no prominenet diffrence by using Hi oct in regular engines.

BTW required fuel type for particular type of engines is always mentioned by Manufacturer.

Thats great thanks for the clear up. For some reason i thought Hi-Octane was better in every scenario cause i mean comon u got ur regular meh...so so....and then you have HI-OCTANE!! So i just thought it might do better performance wise.
Hummy, what has been ur experience using hi-octane?

i still haven't found a very good reason of spending almost around 10 buck just to have 6 octanes more....
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

    @ humy

recommended Hi Octane ratio is 1:4, means 1 litre of hi octane mixed with 4 litres of Super. Do you use it that way? or following some other ratio....

its abt 64 rs a liter these days right? If you own a luxury vehicles such as a high end Mercedes; is it wise to run on petrol or octane?
