    Default My first and recent bike

    guys i want to share snaps of my first bike. Its a Kawasaki 1980 sports 5 speed. These days my younger brother is using it, all the modifications you see on it are done by him. It was a pretty nice thing in stock position when i used it. allegedly my younger brother has beaten many 70s with this. (no engine modifications done on it except for the carbuerator that i changed way back in 1997). he had gone to Murree on this thing many times. And thing is that he needs to change its rings after each tour, and needless to say that it requires complete rebuild after a year and half or two.

    i also had kawasaki 100 sports 79 model 5 speed gearbox. it was surely a hell of a machine. particulary on hill roads it performed tremendously. i still miss that.

    Nice rides,
    No doubt about Kawasaki 100 Sports. In stock condition it can easily beat its counterpart Yamaha YB 100 & with cylinder & Piston modification from GTO 125 it badly smokes the stock GTO 125 below the speed of 100 Kmph.
    Bikes wid this type of modification can even cliff on throtle in 2~3 gear.

    is that modification possible? I mean on this engine head and piston of GTO 125? And if possible what impact would that make on petrol consumtion?

    @Adil_Dar

    Yup its possible u needs to do following steps,

    1) Get Carank case opening position grinded to accomodate the slightly bigger Cylinder/sleeve.
    2) Get rear outer surface of GTO 125 cylinder (Sleeve) grinded to reduce the circumfirence.
    3) Get GTO 125s piston fitted at con rod.
    4) For more increase in power bigger jets from GTO 125 Carb can also be used.

    These four steps are not quite simple but can be done by any specilaist mechanic of Kawasakis
