The registeration shoud take 1-2 days and the cost depends upon
    1) yearly token @ registeration.
    2) life time token @ time of registeration

the total cost was between 3-4 K, till last year.
ETO office is near police line in civil lines ( near kachari chowk)

GO to the ppl sitting outside the office get a deal in around 500 Rs and they will help u full in registeration.

yar abbas you make a seperate thread for everything,

yar registration doesnt cost that much, its 1200 rs for its life time token .1 % of price of this bike and plus 300 Rs if Rwp is issuin computerized number plates. Total comes to 1200 + 750 + 300=2250 Rs, All it takes is approx half an hour, and yes you will have to go to excise and taxation office.

Remember do not go to any third person for this prupose outside these offices they will just strip you. And they will at least charge you 3500 Rs.

In lahore registration system is very smooth i got my bike reg myself last year it cost me 1800 Rs and half an hour to submit fee and docs of bike, its origional book was issued to me after 15 days, its a walk through process to pick the registration book. (Remember computerizes number plates were not introduced till then whick excludes 300 Rs) and people were asking for 2500 Rs to process that for me.

for more help you may contact me

adil, seperate threads make it easier for other newbies to find the info they need when they search forums like PakWheels.

    thanks for the info.
I got my number plates the same day i went to excise and taxation office. The situation there was pretty bad, the office area was a PITA to move around in, the traffic guys were fork lifting bikes parked in NO-Parking areas, on the other hand there were too many new bikes to be registered and the parking area specified has space for only 20 somethig bikes.

anyway, it took around an hour to complete the documents, wait in queue to submit them and then get my number plates

cost me 2310 RS + 200 RS(the guy who helped me complete my documents)

+ 50 rs for installing the number plates.

although i am not specified with the way my front number plate is installed, its too much below the front visor, i'll have to do something about it
