As per my info u have to pay ~110% of actual price & logistics cost would be additional.

i dont think any company there is making new 400cc...is there ?? and the best 250 according to me is the kawasaki ninja 250 2008 model...after that the zx-2r also from kawasaki and the yamaha fzr 250 but ur not likely to find a 0 meter fzr or zx so i suggest you go for the ninja 250 (Y)

bro...kawasaki claims it to be MAINTAINENCE FREE ...a brand new that is...its good that you know a sports bike mechanic...they come in handy at difficult times

as for the fuel consumption...i heard that they installed and update version of keihin carburettors (Keihin CVK30 (2), Constant velocity, diaphragm-type) which they claim gives it a mileage of about 55-75 (mpg US) or 23km/liter which isnt bad if it really makes it...even 20 is good for me ..the 2007 model is cheaper...it costs 3000$ but in the 2008 model they made alot of changes and it looks stunning...i'd definately go for the 08 model

In Kawasaki ZX2R is a good choice and FZRs are nmow produced as YZF, so if you want a Yamaha YZF250R would be a great choice.
If the new bikes have the maximum of 23km/liter average. I am glad with my Fizzre's 18km/liter after all these years :-)

Duty is 7 dollar per cc.
So if u import a 600cc bike=600*7=4200$ will be the duty. Approx 2 lacks and 52000 rs=2.5 lacs on 600cc.

    ^^

a price im willing to pay

now if mav's stats are correct...

    250*7=1750$

    105000 PKR

    bike MSRP 3500$=210000

so i'd get a brand new ZX 2r of ninja 250 of kawasaki for

    210000+105000=315000 PKR

    hmmmmmmmm not bad at all
