    7th Gear,

Though I admire your confidence and expertise, yet, I had a look at the photos at the internet site that you mentioned in your signature, and noticed that you had no rear view mirrors on your bike.

To protect others on the road, and your own self, I would urge you to please install rear view mirrors. Though, you may find them meddling with the looks of your bike, but they are a great safety feature and must not be undermined.

    @abujamal

You are right in what you have said, my 125 has got no rear view mirrors on it. I always put the rear view mirrors on when I am travelling out of city, but within the city I don't need them because I am a very careful driver and don't drive above 45 within the city and thus hardly feel the need for them.

i had only suffered two accidents on my bike but i suppose i would be the only unlucky one to have it on the same day infact within a time frame of 10 min

it was 2 years back when i had a cbr 250,it was friday after prayers i was crossing a junction turning right (on main road) without applying brakes ( i was already quite slow may be 25,30km/h) i had misjudged the speed and the turn but luckily i didn't slipped the low end of the right fairing hit the divider on the road it got scratched but i remained steady enough to continue
i continued without even bothering to stop and analyse the damage as the road was empty i started gaining speed round about 60-65km/h when suddenly noticed an old man crossing the road i had to respond by reducing the speed but when i tried to press the rear brake calliper it was no where to be found (the toe of the calliper had been broken at the very momnet the bike had hit the divider)in this state of urgency the only way i could found to stop was to apply the front brakes the moment i had had pressed it the bike sliped and i let it go
there were no serious injoury to my amazement oly some minor bruces due to drag on road although the right fairing of the bike was completely ruined.
the old man was safe but he disapeared the very moment i got back into my senses
If you change queues, the one you have left will start to move faster than the one you are in now.

^ misjudging on a sports bike can be so fatal. And avoid the old people...a dead one would cost you some Rs350K for compensation..

The first time in my life I rode a motorbike I crashed it,
It was my cousins Suzuki monkey bike, the type with no clutch, we started racing, he was driving a Suzuki Dabba, I was chasing on the bike,
we were going through a field in the outskirts of Lahore, I noticed his tires spinning excessively and I decided to take the lead, applied full throttle, the bike over took him, the front tire on the bike jammed in the soft wet mud and I pulled a superman, flew off the bike, the the bloody handlebars hit my flying feet,
saari trajectory ka beraa gharak ho gayaa,
I went into kalabaazi mode, flipped in the air and smacked into the mud,
the breath got knocked out if me, cousin came running out of the dabba, pointed at me and started laughing,
Al Hamdullillah, I only got a few bruises,
went back home to aunts house where I was staying, after that incident cousin and I started wrestling in the mud so we were both covered head to toe in mud, were quite yong at the time, laughing we got the main door and my aunt started screaming coz she couldn't recognise us,
got badly told off and then we werent allowed inside the house coz we were too dirty so aunt made us stand in the lawn and hozed us down with the maali's pipe,
after we dried out in the sun we were allowed to finally get inside the house to shower and change.

Second time, was driving a friends hilux which had been modified, riased and big wheels, stupid motorbike rider had been doing stunts since ages we were looking at what he was doing trying to impress some chick in a marghalla next to him, as we got near the signal, it turned green and everyone sped up to catch the green light, the bike suddenly swerved, came infront of us to try to overtake the marghi, bike slipped right infront of us, I applied full brakes and we went into a skid, luckily was able to aim the car so that the bike was right in the centre, due to the height of our vehicle the guy didnt get crushed under our wheels,
everyone stopped, got out their cars and ran up to the biker, when the people saw he was ok, they started slapping him around, learned his lesson for teasing "laddisssss",
anyways, we reversed so that the bike was out from under our car and went off.
