    Does a 70cc really go upto 90km/h? I have never driven a 70cc at that much speed.

    silly question...if a 500cc bike can do 130mph it does not mean that a 1000cc bike can do 260mph. same for cars. theres power to weight ratio, wind resistance and many other factors to consider.

    I 2nd to @Excalibur

    @hasan4u

    The Top speed of any vehiecle is niether directly proportional to its Engine Capacity (CC) nor with its out put power(Hp).

    @7thgear

    Yup the Stock Honda CD 70 can easily achieve 90~92 KMph

    @Alone_Munda

    I have done 70Kmph on Suzuki A50 & from 0~60Kmph thet tiny machine even beat CD70 in acceleration.

    @Excalibur said it well!
    "The rough, hard idle swells up and out from under the car, ricochets off other cars, and rams into the ears of the driver, the spectators. You think twice about a 383 Road Runner, but a hemi only once -- and let it pass."

    @Excalibur
    I think we shuld also consider RPM and Aerodynamics in this matter.

    @Imranbhatti..
    it was due to good rider (you) and of course it clearly shows the diferrence of 2stroke and 4 stroke..

    f bike of
    125 cc=130 km/h max ( difference=05)
    110 cc=115 km/h max ( difference=05)
    100 cc=105 km/h max ( difference=05)
    then
    70 cc=90 km/h max ( difference=20)
    Why is this difference?????
    Well thats nothing big. A cc of an engine doesn't really determine the speed of the bike, it is only the measurement of engine displacement. If 100cc= 105km/h (Difference 05), 70cc=90km/h (difference=20), my FZR has top speed of 190km/h and lets suppose that if it can do a maximum of 170km/h then the difference goes in negative. Why is that? And what about bigger bikes. Can a liter bike even do half the speed of its engine displacement?

    now here is my search I googled for cc and found these facts
    The term cc is for cubic capacity.Normally automobiles engine capacity is measured in cc unit standard.This term has directly related to engine size,cc denotes the displacement of an engine...........
    cubic capacity i.e. max volume that engine cylinder can hold[air n fuel mixture] A 50-100 cc engine would most likely be a single-cylindered one
    Displacement is the total volume of air/gas mix an engine will use. Each cylinder has a diameter and the piston travels a specific length (stroke). You figure the volume of each cylinder's displacement (Pi X r X r X stroke) and multiply by the number of cylinders.

    No stock 125 does 130kph
    No stock 110 does 115kph
    No stock 100 does 105kph
    and No stock 70 does 90kph
    Its that simple.Of course i am not taking speedo error in account.
