everyone knows that nobody is perfect...and neither is their machine...so in this thread you have to point out at least 2 problems about ur bike...common dont be shy..i'll start with mine

    BIKE: Modified 150cc Sports

    1. it has one of the worst power to weight ratio

    2. rear brake is horrible...

    3. light positioning is horrible...i cant see beyond 6-8 meters at night

my DELUXE is only 3 months old,
for the last 2,3 days, i am issuing this stupid problem that the key is hard to insert into the IGNITION switch.
i actually have to push it very hard now, and even that doesn't work at times, so i take the halfly inserted key out, try to insert it again.. which is a pain in the a** :-(

    anyway to get it fixed.

will they fix it, as my bike is still within warranty. and if yes, do i need to take my bike back to the showroom i bought it from?

Not a bad idea for another nice thread..

    Well heres' about my bikes..

    For FZR..
    1. My FZR (being an old model) is too heavy for a 250.
    2. The front forks will need some attention soon, new fork oil and perhaps new seals too.
    3. Battery is bit weak but I am being lazy.(Here the problem is with me I guess :-))

    For CG125..
    1. I hate its front brake. Ever since I have purchased it I have never been able to get it the way I wanted, the lever gets so stiff if you tighten the brake.

    Thats all that is..

also, as a confession and question, my bike's engine turns off if i keep it idle without any reving at signal/stops etc.

is this due to the cold weather? or what? i hate kick starting the bike again while in the middle of a traffic queue.

the turning-off issue rose after the 2nd tunning.

well thats a common one abbas...when the engine is cold...it turns off if not given a lil throttle continously...and ur solution is that keep the engine running for at least 3-5 mins before taking it out..keep giving it some throttle until you hear a continous GRRRRRRR sound from the engine instead of GR GR GR GR GR

foosa, u didn't say anyting my bike's ignitition switch issue, where the key bocomes stupid to insert into the ignition, i've chedk the 2nd key, the issue is in ignition.

also my bike turn off at home when its cold, its ok.

but when i've covered like 10 kilometer with it, and when i suppose its OK to leave it running idle without revving it much, while waiting on a signal in queue. it still turns off at time :-/ is the petrol from tank to engien decreased or what?

my bike is giving me 41.5 KMs SOLID for 1 Litre

^Abbas I think your problem is low rpms. Increase the idle rpm of the bike from the cable that extends from the throttle and your problem should be solved.

    @ABBAS

i dont wanna say anything about that......say thanx to brilliant honda engineering

and as 7th said...the problem can also be solved by increasing rpms from the wire/page connected to throttle wire

i dont think that should have a major effect on the mileage...contact ur bike mechanic and ask him to increase the rpms to at least 1.5...i keep mine at 2

I am having the same prob as Abbas's. my sprinter's engine also often turns off at traffic signals I suspect there could be something else wrong with our bikes instead of just idle RPM speed becoz I tried to increase idle RPM speed but it seems to have no effect

hmmmmm ... well dat doesnt make sense...coz cold and low rpms are the major cause of this problem...and generally heating the engine up and increasing the rpms solve the problem...another problem could be the fuel line...some dust or other material might be blocking the fuel supply to the engine hence shutting it down..
