Generate more torque. That much big a sprocket will help you with stunts on almost any bike (if I am not being wrong)..

it helps in stunts alright...we did some xperiments on a cbr400 which clearly prooved that putting a bigger sprocket made the bike more easy to do stunts specially wheelies however another thing we discovered was that it broke 4 chains ...so a successfull failure in the end

Oh my...You were required to install a bigger chain on a bigger sprocket. The original one had to break. They chain should always have a little bit of free-play or it would break.

Obviously there wud be some specific requirment to use such a big Sprocket but Ghuncha's concern is still unanswered that how they will reduce the enuogh inertia produced by high engine revolution & i m afraid that in smaller gears bike's rear wheel might skid upon throttling down wid engaged clutch:O

When you change the sprocket size, you need to change the chain size as well. Bigger sprocket is only for more torque, good for lifting the front wheel, not for speed.

i wonder how much this effects the final drive ratio? the top speed must now be (theorhretically) insane.
