    Default GS 150 Owners Forum

Since I got my GS 150 I have been enjoying it wayy too much. It would be good to connect with other owners of GS 150's in order to discuss all matters relating to the bike and to maybe get together for meets. This is the reason I am creating this thread. If you own a GS 150, or if you are planning to buy one, please come in, post your bike's pictures, share stories, give advice, plan meets, etc.

    Cheerios!

Dont matter. Those two threads are too old and too cluttered.

I m sure the forum wont collapse handling one more.

On my more than 1500 km of riding this bike, heres some things that I have noticed:

    - Self start feature is absolutely WONDERFUL.
    - This bike handles like a car. When I am riding it, I am well ahead of any VTI or any Pajero types (SUV's).
    - Mileage is ~45 miles to a litre.
    - Max speed I could reach was 115 km on a new road with wind in my favor.
    - The rear wheel can sometimes get disbalanced on quick braking on high speed.
    - The rear wheel could be a bigger or wider size and space is provided for it to be changed. I asked the Suzuki mechanics and they said the bike can handle a wider sized wheel and I think it will improve its performance incredibly!
    - Acceleration is good, however I think some 125 cc bikes probably honda and suzuki itself can beat the GS 150 on acceleration, however, for ease of reaching top speed and consistency, this model is great.
    - On high speed, my bike is going silently and coolly, when other bikes sound like they are about to explode.
    - Overall, couldnt have bought a better bike. Looks wise or capability wise.

Now only hoping Suzuki will launch GS 250 here so I can buy that one. (fingers crossed)

what r u saying malikg? Have already done 1500+ km on my bike! Never underestimate anyone!

Anyhow. Today went to the tyre market in Karachi to look for a new tyre for my bike. Suzuki mechanics recommend not going above the tyre 100-90-18. Dunlop/IRC/Michelin and other brands are available at an average cost of ~Rs. 1800. Any recommendations on tyre brands anyone?

Also, Superstar seems to have launched a new bike which has really hot looks (kinda almost catching up to GS 150 and sometimes even better). However, the engine size on that bike is only 100 cc.

    Hi To every One

I have also changed my tyre after 900Km. I went for DSI 100-90-18 for RS 1600 a very good tyre with awesome looks and performance it is easily avialable in tyre market

However i experienced 40 KM per litre after changing tyre which is handsome too compeleted 3000 KM running and alhamdullialh bike is performing beyond ex[pectation
