    Default MotoGP 2008 Season

Welcome to the first motogp race in qatar...and guess what...in lights ...yes the very first motogp under the lights of some few hundred light towers on the qatar track...

the race was dominated by the ROOKIES...horge lorenzo...devisioso...toseland...all three of them made good debuts....casey stoner won ...but of course it was expected...the immense power of ducati came over the challenge of the hondas and yamahas...

THE DOCTOR...didnt made a bad start to the season as well...and finished 5th after a nail biting battle of the 4th place with andre devisioso...

great skill and determination showed by lorenzo who finished 2nd behind the RED DEVIL stoner.....

2 thumbs up for the injured pedrosa who started from 2nd row on the grid...and finished 3rd after battling devisioso and rossi...

    Results

    1. Casey Stoner- Ducati
    2. Horge Lorenzo- Yamaha
    3. Dani Pedrosa- Honda
    4. Andre Devisioso- Honda
    5. Valentino Rossi- Yamaha

I wish Doctor could have won it. Yeh night race was a new thing in this GP.
We'll have another Night race but not in two wheeler class but in Formula 1 when team will race in Singapur GP.
Ahh! Da quando Senna non corre più... non è più domenica!

    That night race was phenomenal!

We finally got to see all the bikes look clean and shiny under the bright lights. Surface looked slippery but was normal for grip.

Great first half of the race, boring second half.

Let's hope Stoner does not make it boring for the whole season again.

Dovizioso did what only two people have done to Rossi in Rossi's entire racing career in the premier class.
Get beaten in a straight fight!

    Go Dovi!

ah...this thread died ...but this time im bringing it to life with the LE MANS GP

    GUESS WHO'S BACK...BACK AGAIN ...ROSSI'S BACK...TELL A FRIEND

yup...2nd win in the row for the "46"...with race starting in the best way possible (Y)...stoner...pedrosa ...edwards and rossi fighting it out at the start...

the main thing of the race was an injured rider named "LORENZO" who was on 12th position at the start of the race...but i still dont know how he managed to finish 2nd over all :|...lovely race by him...

full respect for the veteran edwards for finishing 3rd with pedrosa hanging on the fourth...with chris vermuelen of suzuki lurking in the shadows in 5th

being a yamaha and rossi fan there was a huge smile on my face when STONER raised his hand on the straight giving a sign of DISTRESS ...but over all a brilliant performence by the YAMAHAs

    Standings

    1. Valentino Rossi - Yamaha
    2. Horge Lorenzo - Yamaha
    3. Colin Edwards - Yamaha
    4. Dani Pedrosa - Honda
    5. Chris Vermuelen - Suzuki

The Doctor was so impressive on his Yamaha. Don't you guys think it should be strange for Kawasaki not being very impressive in MotoGP even though it is mostly regarded as the fastest among the Big Four sport bikes for the road use? And lets just don't talk about one their bikes getting out of the race with a broken chain, duh!!

Yes but Ducati finds no place in the big four and is a much different machine. I was talking about Kawasaki especially because it is generally regared the fastest among the Big Four available for road use, yet impresses little in the MotoGP.
