brothers didnt read whole thread, putting every thing aside the technology and average and blah blah but dont you think its our pakistani bikes which took our female family members with more respect than indian bikes, i am pointing out small and angular rear seat in all indian models, dont know why but this thing always came to my mind when i look at the two bikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@mehmood: I think ,I read such a question twice in pakwheels.Dear ,For "Uncles" ,there are always Bikes like Discover 100,Hero Honda CD Deluxe etc with standard riding postion and pillion position.moreover ,it is recommended that Pillions should Sit with Legs on each side of the Bike.

    I don't see a modesty Issue Here.

Made in India Yamaha Fazer for sure.the earlier plan was to launch it this month. But ,they have postponed to next year. Only Litre Engined Super Bikes are imported Here as you may be knowing.BTW ,Yamaha V-max has just launched for 22lakhs on road price.

@mahmood: In India ,there is No taboo or Intolerance, stares these days with women sitting as Pillion with legs posted on either side of the Bike. Most of the Women folks works along with Men in India.Every way,Indian Women are Liberating from Religion,Misogynistic attitudes shared by Most Men even 4 decades back.

While in Rural Areas ,families definitely NOT prefer Sporty Bikes. Also ,There is not all any taboo feelings against women riding or driving vehicles.Scootty's and Honda Activas and Even Royal Enfield Bullets are Liked and used by Women Here. There is No Boycott from Society against them.

I know the attitude change ,since I remember during 1980s ,Women Riding even a Cycle deserved attention and warnings in Orthodox Areas of India, irrespective of religion. It is convenient for Women to travel with light weight scooters.Electric scootters are So easy.

@malabar: no wonder you cant pick my point and you are stuck at usual as usual. well if speaking of taboo and girls riding bikes i can also give you examples but i wont, what i pointed was the sometime possible awkward feeling of touch of someone you respect alot, that was it and it does not have to do what so ever with the riding position. that was all and pata nahi what you make of it how you think of it
