Kawasaki once upon a time had a two stroke called KB 125 RTZ
Yamaha had RX135
These bikes were good for their time (which was around 12-14 years back). But compared to modern 150 cc puls bikes even they will find hard to match.
The most sophisticated four stroke bikes in India have Liquid Cooling, Oil Cooling, Fuel Injection, Powerful Disc Brakes, 6 gears, Delta frames.
yar in BIKES ko apni CD 70 maar day gi. aha ALTERATIOn wali CD 70. UR rahi hoti hai.

Indian bikes nowadays are made and marketed as made for racing bikes.
The Yamaha YZF R15 is an out and out race track bike. Even the TVS Apache RTR 160 has been developed and is being marketed as a made for the race track bike.
Believe me both the Yamaha R15 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 has ultra sharp handling and high revving engines suitable for the race track.
Yamaha had sponsored an R15 TRack Championship in which R15 owners could race with each other. Honda India followed a similar race for its CBF Stunner 125 and recently TVS have also decided to market its bikes by letting the owners of the Apache Race on the race track.
And Uncleshoiab, the CBZ which you rode while in India was the first bike which started the biking revolution in India for higher cc bikes. But even the original CBZ has been stopped production since it couldn't match the performance of the Pulsars. But the CBZ has made a comeback as the CBZ Xterme 150 cc.
i am much aware of what ur talking about. and thanks for da information dat cbz brought da bike revolution and feeling proud now. i shud tell u my dad's bike was in da first 10 or 20's i guess when he bought
The original CBZ still have many biker fans in India. You were lucky to own from the first batch of the CBZ. You should have brought the bike along when you left India.

@2468 - Bro, in India one can lay hands on bikes like the Yamaha R1 & Suzuki Hayabusa in the same showrooms where you get to buy the 150 ccs and their ilk. Of course, the fact that u need to have the cash for it is a different matter.
Here are some links for thee -
So, ur 'availability' argument does not really apply :-)

There is a huge difference between REAL speed (which is recorded by modern V-Box equipments) and the Speedometer indicated speed.
Also digital speedometers are very accurate compared to the analog ones which are error prone.
And yes, the Yamaha R1, Yamaha MT-01, Suzuku Hayabusa, Suzuki Intruder are already available for sale in the Yamaha and Suzuki dealerships. Ducati bikes are sold in India too!!!
Honda is very soon going to launch their superbikes in India in a month or two.
According to internal survay
