    Default formalities needed to buy a secondhand motorbike?

    i would greatly apriciate it if some one could explain to me the formalities that one needs to go thru when buying a second hand motorcycle/scooter for example how can i transfer the registration to my name and other step by step official procidures that need to be done ,thankyou.

    well, all pepers i mean complete fie must b with him,
    if car of or after 2002
    oterwise book only plus a stamp paper for all cases,,

    Make sure that the transfer letter is with him. Also, if the transfer letter is from some previous owner and bears an old date you might have to pay fine when you transfer it to your name. I experienced this fine paying when I went for transferring of documents of my FZR. The documents would be transferrred to your name by the registration office and they will endorse the papers mentioning that they have been transferred to your name now. Document transfer does not cost much but the fine can be of some value depending on the date mentioned on the transfer letter(which you get from the seller). Hope this helps.
