    Default Looking to buy a new bike, please help me

    Hello all,

    I am looking to buy a new bike in heavy style but still affordable, like Super Power SP 100. I like it because it is shaped like a heavy bike and not too expensive and it is economical too.

    Any one using Super Power SP100? Please provide your feed back on Super Power SP 100.

    Also if any one can recommend any other bike similiar look and economical.

    Thanks in advance

    Well bro the Super Pwer SP100 has surely got the looks but it is not very reliable. It is using Chinese technology/parts like many others. Personally, I am a big Nay-Sayer to Chinese bikes. If you are so much interested in look alongwith cheap price, I'd suggest you buy a CG125 and get made fairings for it. Won't be a bad option..

    7thgear, Bro thanks for you input.

    Can you explain about how it is not very reliable?

    Remember I am buying it for Karachi Road(which are now lot better condition) Also I am looking to use it only for 2 years. After that I would like to buy a "real" heavy bike

    Thanks

    brother, just for your information, petrol prices are going to go higher, and as you said, youll be keeping it for 2 years......

    i suggest you shouldnt go for more then a 100 cc bike, if you need speed, and should be economical.....

    or a 70 with the petrol prices

    @GreenRose

    If you intend to sell it after two years, you should also consider its resale price. I am concerned about the reliability of all Chinese bikes, my observation is that almost all of these companies are producing substandard machines, consider bad quality paint job and chrome, low performance engine, bad resale, etc. However, I would urge you to go directly for a heavy bike and make sure it is not Chinese. Good luck.

    @GreenRose
    Go for either Hodna CG-125, models earlier than 2003(dont go for new,a hot cake for snatchers) or Yamaha Junoon YD-100.By going for any of these options,you ll get performance,quality plus hard cash.

    Never rode on SP100,but it should be approx. equal to YD100,but 100cc ke hisaab se kaafi weight hai SP100 par cheezon ka,thatswhy economy & pick dono affect karenge.

    @ green rose
    Bro! All experienced ppl say NO 2 chinese bikes....even if ur a slow driver,dat bike wud be totally ruined in few years...
    Suspension,engine,accesories quality all is poor!! U may nt be able 2 find its genuine sparez nearby ur home....So
    I suggest a used CG125,CD 70,Yamaha Yd 100(isnt famous but with very sound engine)
    used suzukis are low priced too....GS125 is a gud option!
    But remember!! Suzukis resale is poor(not poorer than chinese bikes though! yamahas is also bad)
    ....only honda cd 70s resale is impressive!!

    Simple bottomline,if you need economy,power & style (I think thats the most one needs) go for Yamaha Junoon.
    It easily gives average 60km/ltr,you wont regret your decision.Price is almost same as Honda CD70,so what else you need.
