@xulfiQar u r true but @saif he isnt gonna install it by self rather mechanic n @kamran gonna help him out in this regard, so @saif cud ask to mechanic about tapering the edges of the port

feel the ports with your finger tip - they should be not be razor sharp (happens after a bore/hone job) - smoothing them with emery paper is a regular item in proper 2 stroke builds - sadly I dont see it happen anywhere in Pakistan. Thats why I recommended you do it by hand - it takes a lot of time but all worth it.

I also bevel the piston skirt (that way it funnels oil upwards) it prevents siezures and helps in the piston and rings to stay cleaner and seal tighter.

    Abt the clutch.

The clutch basket has friction plates, plain plates and rubber anti chatter rings. - the plain plates originally are notched and should be installed in a way that all the notches are equally spread out around 360 degrees

firstly check your engine mount bolts for tightening (specially the lower one) it should be the correct type with an equally strong nut.

Check your crankshaft for vibration too, I always balance the crankwheels first then balance the assembly locking it with bearing tite compound on the pin and finally pressing it in the crankcase with a self made puller. (two long pieces of thick metal with bolts and nuts.

For engine noise - the piston should not be very loose in the cylinder, the rings should be perfectly gapped, I also bevel the piston edge to ensure proper lubrication of the skirt (it also helps to quieten the engine) - Finally the fin rubbers are there to quieten the engine too - otherwise the fins act as tongs vibrating.

And are you sure its piston noise and not something else - like clutch

@i am quite sure that u have only replaced the whole engine with out any check n balance.
meray bhai engine open ho k hi pata lagay ga k crank, gear, berings, rod, piston n rings kis halat main hain isi tarha fit karo *** to engine jis halt main tha us nay wohi responce diya jo dena chahiy tha.
jahan tak rx k engine ki sound or smoothness ki bat hay to a perfect rx engine has less sound then any 2 stroke engine sound even at high rpm,s.
vibrations exist due to lose engine mounts.
i already gave u an idea to buy whole engine in good cond as kamran did.
anyway dont worry and keep it up abhi ti ibtada hay iraday pukt hon to ever thing is get abble

Did you check the crankcase for loose main bearings, and did you pay attention that your mechanic does not hammer the crank (weight) into the bearing - It distorts the crank and vibrates when put into service.

The perfect way to setup a crank is on a slow jig with a dial indicator on its axles - you can then see if any little distortions exist that the eye cannot see.

For the crank bearings be sure you use tapered shoulder bearing and not square cut bearings - the bearing will not get a full supply of oil from the weep hole and fail in short time. (it also pays to inspect the bleed/weep holes in the bearing bosses that they are not blocked with the bearing installed.

zulfiqar...i understand but these are minor things u are talking about.. the main problem is that here no one is honest with its job,,, from the spare parts seller to the mechenic no one shows honesty .. we find here 3rd grade meterials in the name of grade one ....mechenics try to steal the items ....i m much busy person in my lyfe from 7 a.m to 11pm...i dnt have time to search the good things,, to find a good leth wala,,, to find a perfect and honest mechenic..........so this is the result that the bike i purchased on high cost in its class is again in my store after spending 15000 over it

thats sad I know - I started fixing my own vehicles since I needed reliable transport on a limited income when I was young, I could not afford to spend much money and still have an unreliable machine. (who isnt broke when young!!)

The processes I wrote down are basic engine overhaul procedure - which I have yet not seen being accomplished in Pakistan. I literally had to BUY time from my work and studies - take apart the machine in the late hours of weekend nights etc. and then proceed to fix them during the week. Saved me a ton of money and got excellent results everytime.

Thats why I say - nothing can be done better if your own two hands do it. Because I have had pretty bad experiences with these so called ustaads. They dont even have proper tools to take apart the engine or even proper chemicals to seal gasketless joints.

I had become an example to the guy whom I bought parts from (Rizwan motors something - Yamaha seller). I rebuilt my engine a long time ago with the replica parts he sold me - I installed them with precision and it was all perfect and silent for many many years (not even spark plug troubles) uptil the time I sold it - (a good part of 7 years), I had travelled to many cities on it too, be it rain, storm, whatever - the bike never ever gave up even with my heavy load on it.

Rizwan motors (molana sb) would remember me as the only person who fixes his own RX115, large burly and rode a silver 115 that was very very silent - I mean the exhaust note sounded like a new suzuki SR21

the only way it will work is to follow the yamaha repair manual and check the piston/cylinder clearance along with the piston ring gaps. If they are in spec and you are dead sure that the crankweight is in super condition your bike should not be vibrating itself apart unless you have got loose mounting bolts or a cracked chassis frame - RX chassis usually crack from the steering head downwards, usually due to a loose foot-rest/engine mount.
