    Super Power is a well established company in Pakistan SP70 has good market value, SP100 has also got some good reputation, SP125 would become a successful bike, please note I am not a Super Power representative, but if you compare its price Rs. 53,000 with CG125 Deluxe that is nearly 90,000, the difference in the quality is negligent.

    ^Bro, we are talking about the long term aspect here. Many people invest their money to buy the bike once and for all. What such customers are concerned with is reliability and durability in the first place and thats where all Chinese and Pakistani bikes are a complete disappointment.
    Cheers.

    well, considering
    53000 n 90000, v must ignore many issues also,
    2ndly if v can put same parts n wan 2 keep it for long, then i don think its a bad deal,
    u can chnage parts with Dlux when needed, n 2ndly Dlux is not adding 40000 not for quality, but taking illogical advantage of Brand name like they used 2 do b4, when their 125 reached 97000

    @mamehmood

    Here you go..
    Chinese?local bikes Vs Japanese bikes..(My views)

    The main thing that gives an edge to Japanese bikes over the Chinese and the local ones is the quality. No doubt, the quality of Japanese bikes like Honda and Yamaha has had a decline than what it was some years back but still they are a lot better than the Chinese ones. Consider substandard spare parts of Chinese bikes, low quality paint job and chrome, low performing engine, lesser fuel average, blah blah. Long term effect of which is that Chinese bikes are a complete failure in the long run.

    Now consider the price and resale, whereas Chinese bikes are cheaper they have comparatively bad resale value.

    Talking about style...no doubt, some of the Chinese brands are producing stylish bikes whereas the giants like Honda and Yamaha are still following the old foot prints yet again a stylish bike is no use if it has got no good engine. Its like a painted mask covering a weird face. So the quality comes first and add style to it and it is a superb machine.

    Even at their current prices if Yamaha and Honda can introduce style to the existing models or bring something new no matter on a smaller scale, they can do a good business because of a well established market all over the country. I hope thats all.

    @7th gear
    i only want to know that do you know most of the parts of Yamaha and Honda from where comes now a days? and even then they are selling on high price what do u say now?

    and donot mix 50 chinese companies with each other we have to classify 10 out of 50.
    and these 10 are better then all other chineese and if you talk about long term basis then i will say only these 10 will survive.

    @mamehmood UR right bro thats the point separating 10 out of 50. For people who criticise bikes other than honda yamaha and suzuki please do not mix (gaday aur ghoray) donkies and horses. Their are many local companies who are making scrap, but not all are doing that. The over head cost of the above mentioned Japnese companies are high thats why their prices are high, the cost is not for their quality. In the end only quality concious local companies would survive and would easily dominate the Japnese looters, who are not Japnese at all !!!

    I can understand that, its quite possible and thats why the quality of these Jap bikes has declined. But didn't you answer your own question? A Jap bike with a few locally made parts versus a completely locally made bike.

    Japanese bikes are still better and they charge more price only on account of lack of competition.

    I think in 4 - 5 years China will overtake Japan in both car and bike sectors Thier prices are considerably low, look at the sale figures of Chery QQ in their hometown, soon they are going to catch up with the japanese in quality, that too at Half the price, atleast !

    A word about Chinese products.

    They make around 8 different quality levels for the same product so customer can take what he want considering how much money he has. Now if we admit that Yamaha and Honda are also using Chinese products, consider Chinese products purchased by A Japanese company versus those purchased by Pakistani companies. Comparison should speak for itself.

    And oh, those who support Chinese bikes, a friend of mine had his Super Power 150 Sports bike blown up with fire, it was a 2007 model. Earlier he would question my preference of a 17 years old Japanese sport bike over much cheaper and new Chinese bikes. Seems like he finally got an answer.

    Well if this doesn't satisfy you, I bought a Chinese battery for my FZR as I was unable to find from some better country. Complete wastage of money coz it lost its power in only one month and won't be able to recharge properly. Later, I bought a Pakistani one which is doing fine for about four months now. I consider it a blessing when I can buy something other than Chinese in this China flooded market in our country.
