I think it was a nice day out for the family. You cannot stop people from entering the area and seeing the cars. After all it is what a car show is all about. This time around there was a lot of involvement of the Pakwheel staff as opposed to the previous show in 2012. There was even some kind of arrangement of cars. The VW club was well organized, so was the 4X4 club, the extreme modified cars were well grouped. Having said that, the rest was a bit of a mish-mash. Improvement could be in the way of having some kind of theme for the rest of the vehicles on show. For example, the Mbs were grouped together but there were 3 or 4 other MBs scattered about. There was a large number of RRs, again scattered about. It looked to me that cars were arranged by owners rather than following some kind of theme. Usually other car shows follow a theme dictated by year, make, or style (DHC, FHC, Saloon, Limousine, etc.) and so on.
As it was a family oriented outing, adding food stalls could have been an improvement. Thankfully there was not much roudyism, burnouts etc. Only way to stop people from opening doors and sitting inside without permission was to lock the doors and allow supervised entry.
All in all a huge improvement over 2012.
Just my 2c worth
