If the Indian brands are allowed to sell in pakistan, it will change the motorcycle scene of pakistan as it had changed in India once.

Indian bikes look great and are of very good quality. Even the Japanese manufacturers are srtuggling to gain marketshare in India because of the domestic brands.

Instead of allowing indian bikes to be imported to pakistan, why not a local industry just picks up competing with the likes of Honda?Indian Bikes like Pulsar(Rouser in southeast asia) or Apache are just not fit for large sales volumes.moreover ,for Obvious reasons ,People *Will* boycott Indian Product(s).that is How I felt frankly! Dosthi Nahin To Dushmani Zaroor Nibhayenge... LOL!

@DesiBoy:Actually ,In India ,the Performance Bikes Segment got a Boost after A Indo-Jap Company Hero-Honda Launched Hero Honda CBZ ,back in 1999(I was one of the first to get one bike, thanks to My buddy who bought it then!).

making automotive product as good in quality as the japanese is not a simple task. it takes years of experience and continous improvemnt and caoont be achieved in a single day.

the Indian auto gaints like TVS, Bajaj Auto, Tata motors, Mahinda and Mahindra had decades (not just years) of rich experience in making automobiles before they ventured on their own in making cars and bikes. even after that it has taken around 10 years for them to get the quality as good as the Japanese.

Japanese,European Manufacturers makes Bikes/cars Precision Engineered ,Especially IC Engine Technology.Look at their Engines ,Especially Japanese and German -they are Precision Engineered.Admire and gets Motivated-that's what Indian Companies are trying.

I am sure Indians also are slowly nearing that precision manufacturing.Pulsar Engine compared with a Honda(karizma ) Engine - Pulsar will perform better -but the NVH levels are always high.In My Humble Opinion, TVS(Fiero/Apache) Engines are More or like Japanese Engines achieving precision ,Although Vibration is an Issue.Bajaj is also nearing that.Just try Pulsar 180 UGIV.The Engine is Lot Smoother than Before.(Bajaj did not advertise this BTW!)

Oh yes, the latest Bajaj engines are a lot smoother than the earlier versions. Be it the new XCD 135, Platina 125, Discover 100 or the 2009 Pulsars (150/180/220). All of them have become a lot smoother.

Bajaj is definitely nearing excellent levels of quality. TVS makes good machines but vibration still is an issue in its bikes.

hope that with time everything will change of the better
