This motorcycle came with an analogue speedometer with gear range markings and the claimed top speed was 90km/h (53mph)
The engine was constantly upgraded and modified.
In 1984 the bike was released as Honda CD70.

After the previous tuning it was giving 75 Km/h(My weight is 115Kg. That might be the reason for giving 75Km/h and not more) . Engine is not giving any kind of smoke and there are no oil deposits on engine.

    what should I do?
    65km/h is good.
If you are satisfied and there are no visible signs of a weak engine such as drop in engine oil level etc then it means your engine is in good nick.
    No need to open it.

Guys I need some help here.
Im having the breaker point model.
It came equipped with 6 volt electronic system.
I want to change the ht coil of my bike.
Parts for this model are difficult to find now, and the ht coils available these days in the market are no good.
They only last for a month or so.
So now I want to ask which is the best alternative for this?
I was told by my mechanic that the bottle coil that came in Charades is the best alternative for this, where as my electrician told me to get the coil which came in 660cc Alto?
Which coil should I get, that gives me the best result.
The second thing I would like to know is that why I cannot use the ht coil which comes in new CD 70s equipped with CDi units?
I inquired my electrician but he was unable to explain.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

    Default honda cd 70 accident

I have a question from cd 70 owners, my 70 had an accident few days ago, hit a chingchi from the back right from the back straignt such that it front wheel bent but not punctured frame is also bent right above the carborator that i noticed after few days while parking on double stand, its like both wheels r touching ground and u can't leave it parked straigh. got it checked with the honda 3s shop, they replaced the front wheel, alligned the handle rod with new balls, serviced the shocks with new springs/and said its frame is bent above carb (one can feel the bend by touching under the tank) and it will be fixed by disambling the whole bike, frame will be fixed on a machine with jacks and it will stratch it back to factory default. total estimate is 5k.

Please tell me how true is that and what is the best place to get it fixed, will the frame be painted after the job? if there are any chances of frame crack?

I know its dangerous to ride in this condition coz the gap b/w the front wheel and piston head is reduced and it can hit any time.

Glad to know that you're safe.
After the accident, the first thing you should have done was to get the frame back in its place.
The backbone frame, after a frontal collision will always bend downwards from the place that is beneath the tank, reducing the normal gap between the front wheel and the cylinder head.
Now to repair the frame you'll have to remove all the body parts, (tank, seat etc) then remove the wiring harness from within the frame and then separate the front fork assembly from the frame.
Take the frame to a good denter, who specializes in repairing bike frames.
He'll measure the actual gap and they will bring the frame back into its original place by heating the frame in the highlighted area.
Once its done, repaint the affected area or the whole frame accordingly, redo the wiring and fit the removed body parts.
IMO get it done ASAP as riding in the bike in this state can be dangerous.
