    A Little History:

The CD 70 was introduced to compete against rival 2-Stroke small capacity motorcycles, The Honda CD70 was one of the world,s 4-Stroke, small capacity motorcycles, with an engine displacement of only 72cm³.
This Motorcycle was infact a "Honda C70" but models that were from 1970 to 1983 were known as "Honda 70"s, as the logo “Honda 70” appeared on the side covers of the bike.

In Belgium and Brazil this model made Honda very popular.
In Asia, especially Pakistan, Honda owes its huge success to this model.
In Pakistan it earned the nickname " Rocket" for its abiltiy to climb steep roads with considerable loads for its very small engine capacity where rival 2-Strokes usually failed. This motorcycle came with an analogue speedometer with gear range markings and the claimed top speed was 90km/h (53mph)
The engine was constantly upgraded and modified.
In 1984 the bike was released as Honda CD70.

    Asalaam o Alaikum,

Hope all members are doing good. I have once question regarding the air fuel setting of CD70. Please correct me if I am wrong.

There are two screws on the right side of carburetor. 1) Idle Speed Control 2) air fuel mixture adjustment (I reckon).

The problem I am facing is that the pick is not good. Bike ghutti ghutti chal rhi hai. whenever I push accelerator hard, it accelerates immediately but after 1 or 2 seconds the pick is reduced. Air filter and engine oil is changed yesterday. carburetor was also cleaned. I think the problem is with the air fuel setting.

Kindly let me know how to adjust the two screws to solve the problem

    Thanks,
    Rizwan

    ^ Ws,
Yes you are right about the carburetor screws.
You can adjust them by yourself but if I were you then I would have gone to a good mechanic for it.
Another reason for this could be that your bike,s tappats are more tight than reccomended.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

[ not air fuel mixture screw but only air control screw.. it only adjusts air flow..and that too for the idle and low speed settings.. normal settings on 78cc bike is 1360+180 or 360+230 degree rotation of the screw from fully in...
