    @xtermist

    Shyeub is right that Bajaj has nothing to do with Suzuki. Indeed their monogram is quite similar when looked upon from a distance whereas, it is completely different. They paid a UK monogram design firm around UK Pound 7 million or more for that.
    Infact, Bajajs were making scooters since early 70s. They collaborated with Kawasaki in early 80s for 100cc two stroke bikes. in early 90s they developed their own 4stroke (Bajaj 4S) which saw marginal success but could not compete Hero Honda. Then came their Caliber and boxer which turntabled the auto scenes here. After the pulsars, avengers, discovers, wings and eliminators there is no stopping the giants. And for now I have learnt that they have stopped the scooter productions to completely focus on motor bikes alone.
    Upwards Onwards, when the going gets tough the Tough gets going.

    (it's the cheapest available in India, cheapest dosen't mean it's made of tin. It has a reliable engine which gives 70km/l in real fife situations and has excellent build quality)

    No denying the fact that bikes are much more competitively priced in India. Indian consumer has plenty of options at attractive prices to choose from.

    @shueyb

    this is true. Indians customers has plenty of options and attractive prices to choose from.

    this has been possible because there is no monopoly in the automarket of any particular Auto Maker.

    There are both International and Indeginous Auto/Bike Makers competing in the market.

    Infact the Indegenous Auto Makers have been giving the International Auto Makers a run for their money by coming out with excellent products with very very competitive pricing.

    it is due to this healthy competetion that the Indian customers is getting the best of deals.

    In India the customer has to just walk in any showroom with required cash, make a decision and WALK AWAY WITH HIS CHOICE OF CAR/BIKE THAT VERY DAY...

    THERE IS HARDLY ANY WAITING PERIOD FOR ANY CAR/BIKE

    thanks for the compliments aridsoul..

    would luv to gift you one (Pulsar 180).

    Better still why don't Pakistani govt. allow Bajaj to set up production facility in Pakistan??? In that way you won't have to pay Customs Duties..

    What say???

    Moreover there are three more Prominent Indegineous Bike Makers in India apart from Bajaj... they are

    KINETIC MOTORS, LML MOTORS and TVS MOTORS

    KINETIC and LML have yet not been able to get success in the way BAJAJ and TVS has been able to get.

    TVS has Come out with an New and Excellent 150 C.C called the "APACHE"
    It matches the Pulsar on all counts, be it looks or be it Performance...

    The 150 C.C Bike segment has become quite exciting

    In sholey the Bullet was not the same. Infact, that was a pre-war military model imported from England. The model shown here with the side car combo is found in Switzerland and other europeon countries.

    Capt. Amrinder Singh gifted Ch. Pervej Ellahi a new 75 HP Sonalika Tractor but all I could wish here is that my friends there own a bullet like this soon. And dont forget that anybody riding a Bullet for once could not ever say that he is not a bike freak!
    Infact, Bullet is not a Bike, it is a cult.
