    @ mjan , honda may be good in road grip, but believe me it seriously doubts in durability, many problems, most common is the ring piston problem, which are of very low quality, and engine smokes after few thousand kms, with a little bit of carelessness, + oil seal leak of the sprocket side and also other issues ,so its not very popular, my uncle had it and i saw that all,(worst resale value although its honda)

    where as suzuki is very durable and performance bike , then comes junnon, probably not as performance bike as sd 110, but far better in durability than any other bike in 100 cc class. and on third comes honda 100, better in comfort and road grip, but worst in durability, performance,

    and why do u want a speedometer of 140, if ur bike cant cross even 110km/h (LOL), so junoon did a sensible thing in that matter

    I got to say bike CHINA ki bhi ho ager sensible tareeke se chalayi jaye to 10 saal baad b bike ko kuch nahi hota, tuning time se karai jaye, bike ko carefully chalaya jaye neat and clean rakha jaye to I think kuch nahi hota chahay honda ho ya koi bhi brand....It's all depends on us how we keep and treat our bike...... mechanically problems to machinery me ati hi rehti hai choti moti but ager care ke sath chalaya jaye to i think koi bhi problem nahi hogi

    yeah ur right to some extent, but there is a word known as durability, which honda 100 dont have, btw i have seen many 07 models of cd 100 and 9 out of 10 gives out smoke, now this ratio is not coincidence, that shows the quality, btw u rarely find and 70, giving out smoke or cg 125 of 07, or even 06 model dont give smoke that commonly, plus ask all the mechanics of honda, they never prefer honda 100 although thats not a new thing they cant tune,
    plus honda 100 ki resale bhi buhat kam hai market may aur is kay parts bhi buhat expensive hain, aur rahee bat suzuki ki to wo buhat durable bike hai aur dheet bhi hai buhat, even after a very rough use us ka engine nahi kharakta that easily and same is the case of junoon

    Well re-sale value to Suzuki ki b itni khaas nahi hai jitni Honda ki hai, actually hamare han trend ban gaya hai log aik tarah se lakeer ke faqeer hain, bus Honda Honda honda..... I think CD 70 and CG125 have best re-sale value then any other brand of bike available in pakistan market, rahi baat durability ki to no doubt SUZUKI is the shining Brand there, U see CHAAND GARI, all thanks to durable engine of SUZUKI

    yeah thats what im talking about, bwlieve me or not but Honda 100 isnt as durable as suzuki is , thats my point , suzuki 110 can tolerate the rough handelling whereas honda 100 cant , engine smokes early no matter how much u care in cd 100

    @mjaan_18

    Dear its neither a proper comparison nor it is a just one.

    I have just bought a new Yamaha junoon after market survey so Let me clearify a few things for you people.

    Comparison:-

    Performance based:-

    Speed: Junoon wins here, it has more pick up and more top speed.
    (The Topspeed written on speedometer is not the actuall topspeed dear)

    Roadgrip: Both bikes have v.good roadgrip.

    Comfort: Both bikes have pleasing comfort. Junoon's comfort is at par with Cd100's

    Fuel avg: I fetched 58Km/Ltr during running process from my bike v.easily keeping its speed arround 50Km/hr +/-
    Thus both bikes are 100% equal here both prove they can practically fetch 60Kmpl.

    Plus points based:-

    Junoon is far more good looking and sporty looking as compared to conventional type CD100.

    junoon has front and rear both crystal lights.

    CD100 is Euro 2.

    Quality based:-

    Honda's overall paint and build quality is better than Yamaha. Veldings on honda is finer than on yamaha. Finish of honda bikes is on top. yamaha is second.

    Technology based:-

    Yama 4 i.e. YD100 4 stroke was launched in 1998 (Correct me if im wrong) and has a newer technology at par with suzuki.

    Honda CD100 is just a big fat version of old CD70 - 1980s technology and nothing good (Thats why junoon is better in performance)

    Price based:-

    Yamaha junoon's factory price is 70,500 Rs but with a little negociations i got it in 68,500Rs a 2000 rs discount!

    Honda people did not agree to offer me any discount, they were arrogant and non-hospitable Price is 69,500Rs

    It all depends what u want? a conventional looking bike or smart looking? consuder ur needs b4 u buy..
    junoon needs more care than honda. but dont think its plastic is low quality.. its v.good.

    Quality based:-

    Honda's overall paint and build quality is better than Yamaha. Veldings on honda is finer than on yamaha. Finish of honda bikes is on top. yamaha is second.
    Outside Pakistan, I mean in Super Bikes ?
    It is impossible to please everybody.

    @automotorsport_lover
    plz tell the maximum speed u got with junoon?

    Rs.2000 discount is very impressive, sab kuch check ker lena tha, means all the parts are true(real) its Pakistan budy.....; (my cousin has this experience of discount also!!!!!!

    yar ap old look ki bat ker rahe ho to ap ko pta hai last 6-7 years main bikes,cars or other wheecals main classic look ke kafi additions aye hain: round lites,indicators etc

    @all
    hr koi different choices, needs and liking rakhta hai, koi aik company puri market ko agar 100 model b de dey to sab ko satisfy nai ker sakti; sab companies apni apni target market and class ko serve ker rahi ahi:
    or ye aik achi baat hai k sab companies kuch naya dene ki koshish to ker rahi hain; or agar govt Pakistani engineering students ko support ker to kafi ache results a skate hain

    abi kuch Pakistani students nay telenor ki supports se aik sports looking car banai hai,

    waiting for same in bikes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ^^ Yes everything was f9 It was a normal discount available on any Yamaha Shop...

    yar ap old look ki bat ker rahe ho to ap ko pta hai last 6-7 years main bikes,cars or other wheecals main classic look ke kafi additions aye hain: round lites,indicators etc
    Lets check the history of these bikes... I dont prefer buying a CD100 bcoz it lacks in Passion!! Wht excites in a car or a bike to the enthusiasts is its design concept.. Ferrari, lambourghini are a few examples, they are not just only cars, they are phenominal cars.

    Thus when i compare a CD100 vs Junoon i find a sporty concept design in one and a confused fusion design in other.

    Remeber CD100's technology is a local production, it was made by our local Honda with a little help of japan Honda engineers.. it dont even exist intenationally, at begining it was a big flop with many defects, the people who bought the newly launched CD100 then got great trouble after wards as their engines got weak too early, latter Honda tried hard and finally brought up their sales. Apparently they have removed the durability issue but im still not satisfied with it... bcoz it a local model, not international one. Japanese honda did actually lauch CD70 & Cg125 back in 1970s and they were good selling uptill late 80s in japan but then they moved on to newer models.. Irony is we are still using them & they were dumped by Japan in 80s. But atleast these two models 70 & 125 were international and they proved their durability in many parts of world however The locally made CD100 still has to prove itself... Its a bigger clone of CD70 but our pathetic engineers at Atlas honda still ruinned the bike when just simply increasing its bore and stroke...

    However Yamaha YD100's technology proved itself, it proved its tecnology and durability. Allthough due to strong hold of market by Honda in 1998, when yamaha introduced YD100( first ever 100cc 4 stroke) it was a flop in terms of sales... but ppl who bought it then are still using it and are v. satifed with it....
    but CD100 has still got 2 prove itself.

    Hope u got my point
