    Unhappy Need help about honda 125 classic

    As im using CG125 for 1.5 year now my bike sound is change then new one i am taking extra care of my bike like oil changing, tuning, filter cleaning etc.. suggest me something im fade up of this sound..

    thats may be due to silencer, which is of poor quality now a days

    Since you've arose this topic, might i ask the same question for myself here?

    Okay here is the thing ...
    YOu notice when you purchase a brand new bike Honda CG-125 Classic, listen to its Sound, you'll notice when you accelerate it a little bit, aawaaz chanak si jaati hay.
    I CAN BET that when i purchased my used 2009 model of 125, it required tunning badly, its sound was just like a BRAND new Bike, VERY LOW, CLEAR, POWERFUL, and that same sound like i want, whoi Chanak daar si aawaaz.

    I m sorry if its not much to make yu people understand, but how the hell can i get that sound back for my bike
    Because it all started jab bike ki tunning ho gayi thi.

    Now some people say its because tunning k doraan mechanic Filter ko Petrol say wash karte hain, and jab tak wo Petrol sookhta nahin hay, tab tak aawaaz sahi nahi ho gi.

    Some say its because of the Silencer, where my Silence is still Genuine and THAT VERY SAME SILENCER was giving me the sound of a Brand New bike, aur ab jab kisi say poocho to bolay ga k SILENCER new dalwa lo ... i mean 1 common sense hay k agar silencer ka fault hota to pehle gaari wo brand new bike ki tarha ki chanak daar aawaaz na deti.


    Now what to believe?

    ANY EXPERT here, Please Tell us what is the main problem?



    Its not a problem for me to get a new silencer, yea i can spend 1.6k to get another Genuine Silencer for Honda 125, but the problem is ... New Silencer Also require some Running, ta'kay iss ki jaaliyan Khul jayen aur gaari Khul k saans le. Because with a brand new silencer, you can't accelerate the vehicle more than usual.

    Absolutely right, 125 ke silencer mein chankaar hai, 2009 model mein ye chankaar ziada nahi thi, but in 2010 model ye chankaar boht ziada barha di gayi hai like old 92 model....New bike mein chankaar isliye ziada hoti hai ke us mein carben nahi hota, jaise jaise bike chalti hai engine oil consume hota hai or carben jamna shuru ho jata hai silencer mein jiski waja se ye chankaar ahista ahista kam hona shuru ho jati hai........Bus yahi waja hai chankaar kam honey ki or koi nahi....

    So you mean, k agar wo Chankaar waali aawaaz wapis leni ho to SILENCER he New Lo ?

    But i told you, and i can bet on that, k meri bike ki aawaaz Tunning honay se pehle, Bikul Fit thi, wohi Chankaar wali aawaaz. But junhi tunning huwi, Aawaaz ki matt wajj gayi. Ab wo ghatiya Sukki ki aawaaz aati hay :@
    Aur upar say sonay pay sohaga, meri bike Petrol Average bhi achi nahin de rahi, 33-35KM/h inside lahore on speeds less than 70.
    Something is really wrong with my bike.
    I think i should get it checked by some REAL Expert ..

    agr tuning kay baad yay masla hua hai to tappet adjustment mein koi problem hui hai aik tite aur dossra loose........ kyun kay bike ki saara sound head par depend karta hai

    Jaisay jaisay engine runs in, piston apni jaga banata hai against the cylinder walls, so har bike main chalne k sath sath awaz main farq ana shuru ajata hai chahay woh 70 ho ya 125.
    Agar ziada awaz mehsoos kr rahe ho to it could be because of unadjusted tappat knocking.

    Petrol is a volatile liquid and dries up very quickly, so whoever has given you this info is probably wrong.

    magar agar tappat adjustment sahi na ho aur bike kahin se hawa khench rahi ho to is se par pick bhi decrease honi chahiye na?

    upto mark adjustment na honay par bhi aisa hota lkn bike runing fitfat...... bcz rocker apni sahi hardness nahein show kartay so in result bike ka sound karak nahein banta

    @Daniyal & FC !! I also think k Tappet Adjustment main koi problem hay, because I can feel k Bike ki Pick bhi sahi nahin hay, aur jab 1 aur banda beth jata hay to Bike bohat Dull Accelerate hoti hay. I mean i once saw a Honda Delux with THREE freakin' Men on it, and it was accelerating like hell.
    Abhi bike taqreeban 450 KMs chali tunning kawanay k baad ... but mujeh lagta hay k 2nd tunnig mujeh jaldi karwani paray gi because bike ka bikul bhi maza nahin aa raha.

    @Han1911 ! Can you tell me Bike ka exhaust (if you mean Silencer) kaisay Wash karte hain ??


    aur haan bhaiyo! 1 aur baat, I noticed k Silencer main thora thora Carbon Jamna shuru ho chuka hay, jo k pehle nahin tha ... kya ye bhi effect kar sakta hay aawaaz pay?
    Aur main ne kisi Honda 125 k silencer main aaj tak Itni Carbon nahin dekhi jitni meri bike k silencer main hay.


    Sirf inhi maslon ki waja say mera iss Classic say Dil kharab ho raha hay. Mera to dil karta hay k chup kar k 1 Honda CG-125 DELUX 2010 model nikalwa loon ... but phir sochta hoon k nahin yaar Classic ki apni he grace hay lol

    Bike mar mar k 33 say 35km per liter kar rahi hay, jab k Atlas Honda k 1 banday ne mujeh bataya tha k CG-125 ki MINUMUM average bhi 42 km/liter say upar honi chahiye.

    Main to kehta hoon k risk le leta hoon aur 1 baar Phir Tunning karwata hoon. (eventhough abhi tunning ka time nahin aaya kiyon k abhi bike sirf taqreeban 450 KM chali hay) But Lahore main kisi achay mechanic ka mujeh nahin pata. Main kehta hoon k Mechanic Tabahi ka ho, kaam bohat acha karay, aur agar 1000 rupees bhi managay tunning k to main dene k liye taeyaar hoon. But shart ye hay k Mechanic Tabahee ka ho & Above all ... honest ho.

    honest bhot kam mechanc hotha hain.... laikin dhoka baz bi itna ziada nai hotha... sirf unki know how kam hthi hai...
    and tuning is no risk .. is ma koi risk nai ha
    it consists of just unscrweing and checking various settings ....and correcting if needed
    itna hyper sensational na ho tuning ka mamla ma.... and i think either its tappet issue or as mentioned above carbon deposits.... etc...

    and do remember one thing that ask rather order ur mechanic to use feeller gauge to set tappet clearence ... they normally dont use it and owe their experience over standard procedures... bhalla khud hi btavo .08mm ki valve clearence aik banda kaisa exact baghair kisi instruments ka kr saktha ha....
    also tighten all ur screws/nuts especially of mud gaurds ,seats and main axial [not of tyres]

    and adjust ur cluch accordingly...

    WOW bunch of experts help me..! I gave my bike to mechanic for tunning my bike after 1 month.. i once cleaned my silencer of CG125 but not much carbon came out.. phir be awaz wahi ke wahi hai

    Im quite sure now k masla tappat adjustment ka he hai
    find a trustworthy mechanic and get your bike tuned from him its not that much an issue.

    Ek banday k sath bike phir guzara kr jaata hai magar jaisay he thora load ziada hota hai bike pe to bike beth jaata hai.
